Schoola: 30% Off Entire Purchase of Gently Used Kids’ Clothes (+ Earn Funds for Your Local School)
As I have mentioned previously, Schoola enables you to snag like-new clothes for your kiddos from your favorite brands (think Gymboree, Janie and Jack, and GAP!) at a fraction of the retail price and to help out your local school at the same time! Plus, Hip2Save readers can snag 30% off their entire purchase with the exclusive promo code Hip2SaveFall30 at checkout valid through August 13th only.
Here’s how Schoola works…
* Schoola runs clothing drives at schools around the country.
* Schoola then takes these preloved clothes and sells them online at big discounts off retail.
* Easily narrow down your selection of clothes by gender, size, brand, item type, color or you can choose to shop by “look”.
* Enter the code Hip2SaveFall30 at checkout to get 30% off your entire purchase. Plus, get free shipping on orders of $50+.
* Schoola then gives up to 40% percent of the proceeds back to the schools that donated the items.
* Each item even showcases the school it came from and lets you know how much you are giving back to schools with each purchase.
Do you have clothes that no longer fit your kiddos?! Request a donation bag from Schoola. Within a few days, you’ll receive a sturdy, postage-paid bag that you can fill with like-new children’s clothing. Fill out the name of your school, seal the bag and it will be picked up right from your front doorstep; free of charge. Your school will then be on its way to earning funds too.
* Sign up for Schoola and send your unique link to all your family and friends and/or post on Facebook and Twitter. For every person who follows your link and buys something, you will get a $15 credit. And there is no limit to the number of credits you can get!

TIA!!
I was just going to ask if anyone has had any experience with this company. Thanks for the post, Lili! If I buy anything, I’ll go through your link.
Just got my first Thred Up order today and was very pleased!
I sent a whole bunch very nice clothes. Only 5 items were ever posted for sale, they sold but unfortunately it wont be enough for them to send any $ to my childs school. While they have some cute, cheap clothes it’s a scam as far as sending profits to your school. When I tried to find out what happened to the clothes I sent, I didn’t get much response only the run around. There is nothing that holds them accountable. I will NOT patronize this company again.
Thanks Sandy! If you sign up, keep an eye out for free shipping promos, they seem to offer the every so often.
As a mom of 3 on a budget, I have ordered from them several times. I’m generally pleased with what I have received but there have been a few instances where I have ordered a size small or 5, for example-and have received the adult equivalent, so my preschoolers can’t wear it obviously. Also several times items have been missing from my orders- however a quick email to them and they are happy to resolve the issue. My other issue is (more than once) receiving slim or husky size jeans for my son when they were never listed as such. So, you are taking a few chances when placing an order, but overall, it seems to be worth it. I have also sent a bag of clothes in, and as previously mentioned, only a few of the items were listed for sale. Even a NWT item never made it to the site. I’m iffy that our school will ever hit the $20 minimum threshold..but it is what it is. Good deals to be had for the parents, but not as great for the schools..
well i just placed an order. $51 came to $35 with free shipping after the code. thanks!
I have ordered about 10 times from this site for my 8 yr old boy and toddler boy (18 mo). And I have been very pleased. Before receiving my last order, I received an email stating that the quality of one of the items that I purchased (a fleece jacket for $7) wasn’t up to their standards when they packed it, so they credited me back for that item. I received it last week and it looked fine to me – but I was really pleased at their proactive customer service!
If you use someone’s link, you each get a $15 credit, if anyone is interested, I would appreciate it: http://www.schoola.com/stitch?ref=cp-3X1asK3T
