Yes, they did away with the Friday freebie. I was told by someone who works for Kroger that it was to save money.

They do the freebies from time to time and sometimes they do on for preferred customers so you have to watch in your coupons. I am pretty sure the manufacturers cover most of the cost of those freebies. I suspect the reduction is a result of not seeing enough return on investment to get vendors to bite on a consistent basis.
Lately most of the Friday freebies were stuff I wouldn’t even try for free. I like the coupons I get in the mail though

Your limit is 5 for the coupon. U can mix and match the items for the coupon or you can get 5 of one item. Hope this helps 😊

Thanks for the heads up. I usually get these deals in a separate transaction from my other groceries to make sure they rang up correctly. Sometimes a product that’s not part of the deal (but signed or displayed like it is) messes it up.
Yes I had to go back and get a $4 refund for all the coupons that didn’t apply 🙄
Or check the receipt before you leave. They have a Scan Right policy that gives you the item for free if the price is incorrect! Just go to the customer service desk. Got a couple of pounds of crab legs for free that way before! But I think the policy has changed to top off at $5 now.

Your coupon only works one time to buy up to 5 products. So, no.
Some of the boxes of GM cereal have a promo for Fandango movie ticket for Lion King as well, I think for every 3 boxes

huh. i have never heard this policy–i wonder if it’s only some Kroger stores. (i shop at fred meyer.) and i’ve whined that one out of every three times i use e-coupons they don’t work, and i have to get it fixed at the Customer Service counter. i’ll give them this–they are always helpful!
If you’re asking about the price guarantee, found an article online, but not on Kroger’s site. If you ask a manager, they should know something about it. Cashiers usually give you a blank look since it’s a little-known policy.

Did anyone shop 3x over 30$ at Kroger last month to get the 5 off 40$ deal in August? I shopped multiple times but how do I know I got the deal? it is not listed in my digital coupons anywhere.
I used the Skinny Pop 75 cent coupon from coupons.com and got them for .74 each. I used two coupons.
Coupons.com coupons have not been scanning for me. I had .50/2 nature valley and it wouldn’t scan, then I had .75 off drano at Walmart and it wouldn’t scan but they did it manually. The guy at Kroger pretty much just said sorry it won’t work 😡. I’m sick of wasting my paper and ink on coupons.com for them not to work.
I have been having problems, too. thought it was my ink. I started printing them 15% larger, and works better. However 3 wouldn’t scan today at Kroger. I took them to the customer service desk and he got 2 to scan right away, and gave me the money. So you could try that.
Read Kroger will start charging fees for cash back. If you get less than a dollar back, it’s free 😝.
Plus, if you buy 3 boxes of cereal you get a free movie ticket to lions king 🙂
