If any Hip2Save folks know of any games where you have to collaborate/work together to do the game well, I love that idea! Years ago, I heard that there were some out there? But I never have known how to find them.
I would look at the escape room type games. You can look up on Amazon escape rooms in a box. There are many since usually you play once. Since I am a MacGvyer fan (original and not new), I bought the MacGyver escape room and enjoyed playing with family. You work together to escape by solving the mystery.

Forbidden Island and Castle Panic are great cooperative games to start with.
I second Forbidden Island! It’s a fantastic cooperative game. My 4 kids (11-15) love it and so do I!
My family loves to play Pandemic. It has been around for awhile. Well before 2020:) You have to work as a team, so no one person loses.
Thank you!!!!
I highly recommend Dutch Blitz! It’s timeless and ageless. Tip: If playing with mixed ages, you can adjust the number of cards in a players Blitz pile to even out the odds of winning – ex: adults 12, most players 10, little kids 5.
Thanks so much for the recommendation and the tip! Good to know it has been a hit!
Dutch blitz is one of our favorite games! Another big hit with us is Pit. It also has everyone playing at the same time and up to eight people can play at once.
Our faves; Catan, Otrio, Othello, ticket to ride
Parcheesi is my fav
