Pumpkin Pie Shake Recipe
Do you like Pumpkin Pie? Do you like milkshakes? Well, if so, you are gonna love this super easy and super delicious pumpkin pie shake recipe. This shake literally tastes like a piece of pumpkin pie… a cold and creamy piece! I made these shakes for the family last weekend and they were a huge hit!
Ingredients
2 cups vanilla ice cream (any kind you like!)
1 cup milk
2/3 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon pumpkin-pie spice
Toppings
frozen whipped topping, thawed
Pumpkin-pie spice
Directions:
Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Pour ice cream mixture into 4 glasses. Top each with whipped topping and sprinkle with the additional pumpkin-pie spice, if desired. Easy Peasy! 🙂

Great idea! Just wanted to mention one thing – I know that you’re trying to get more all-natural ingredients – Cool Whip is complete garbage, but Trader Joe’s sells its own brand in their frozen case, and it’s all-natural (without hfcs) and delish! Not judging anyone else – just trying to help!
i was gonna say something similar…mostly that it made me laugh that everything was organic …and then there’s cool whip! nothing but chemicals. (and the artificial sweetener is way worse for your body than sugar too but that’s a pretty common misconception)

Have you tried Fage Greek yogurt? It’s wonderful, thick, and tastes really creamy, but is thick (if that makes sense) would be really good to use for cooking. I’m thinking of using that on top, sprinkled with some sparkly sugar crystals for sweetness and then the pumpkin-pie spice. My rheumatologist told me no powdered creamer, etc. Every once in a blue moon I will, but usually no! Not dissing anyone that does, but I just adapt the recipes that I use. Yes! I think homemade freshly whipped cream would be a tastier and more natural option….especially if you can get your hands on raw cream from a local farmer…seriously drooling now. 🙂
We’ve been making a “healthier” vitamix version of this the last few years around here:?) (no ice cream or cool whip) Kids love it.
Freeze your pumpkin in ice cube trays, 12-14 cubes
Just use milk, about 2 cups
organic raw sugar or honey, 1/4-1/2 cup
spices to taste ( I LOVE me lots o’ nutmeg!)
vanilla to taste
dash of sea salt
Thought I’d throw that out there:?) We love to cook and pure pumpkins in the fall, so I make lots of pumpkin cubes and bag them up for smoothies:?)

I don’t understand why anyone would eat Cool Whip instead of real whipped cream. *shrugs*
Thanks for the recipe. I’m going to make this vegan style, using vanilla soy yogurt (I will freeze the yogurt) and flaxseed milk as substitutes. I’m sure it will be yummy.
