Starbucks: Treat Receipt is Back (Bring Morning Receipt to Score Baked Treat for $1 after 2pm)
For a limited time only, make any Starbucks purchase before 2PM and then enjoy any baked treat for only $1 (plus tax) after 2PM the same day at participating stores in the U.S. and Canada. Just remember to show them your receipt when you return.
*HIP TIP* from a reader:
PLEASE everyone keep in mind that this usually only applies to corporately owned Starbucks stores and NOT always licensed or cafe stores (ones that are inside grocery stores, airports, Barnes & Noble, etc). If you want to ensure that you will get a treat receipt at a participating Starbucks, go to a standalone location.
Ugh I went this morning and the barista didn’t give me my receipt. Darn
yea one time the barista forgot. you should ask for it after the transaction to make sure they don’t forget. baristas always ask me if i want the reciept and i always say yes whether it’s treat reciept or not.
This could be regional. I got an email from Starbucks tonight stating 2pm-closing will be half price Fizzio drinks (new hand crafted sodas). $1 pastry would be better!
I got the Fizzio email in ATL. Like you, I prefer the baked goods!
I too received an email for Half Off Fizzio Handcrafted Sodas from 2PM-Closing through the 6th. I do enjoy the Golden Ginger Ale (it’s very refreshing). But, I love my Starbucks “coffee” drinks. And I doubt my local Starbucks would be participating in both promotions. Hmmm …
I want the pumpkin scone in the picture! YUM!
So if I show my receipt in the afternoon to get a treat for $1, can I also use a 25% off food code to get it for $.50?
Layla … My guess is you wouldn’t be able to combine them, but you’d have to check with Starbucks. Especially since this appears to be a regional deal. I didn’t receive any notification about this. However, Starbucks did email me about the 1/2 Price Fizzio Drinks … And also a Reward Challenge for 3 Bonus Stars w/three purchases at three different locations, along with a 25% Off Breakfast Sandwich coupon.
Is this any kind of treat they have?
