Wounded Warrior Project: Support Veterans by Printing Coupons (Save on Hostess, Sabra, Silk, Horizon + More)
Once again, Believe in Heroes, a Wounded Warrior Project initiative that calls on Americans to recognize the enormous sacrifices made by our newest generation of veterans, is once again providing the American public with an opportunity to show their support and appreciation of veterans in their communities and across the nation. One of the ways that YOU can show your support is simply by printing some of the great coupons found here. 🙂
Here are some of my favorite coupons…
* $1/2 Hostess Snacks or bagged Donettes (8 oz or larger)
* $1/6 Campbell’s Condensed Chicken Noodle & Tomato Soups, excludes 4-packs
* $1/1 Silk Half Gallon
* $0.75/2 Horizon Mac & Cheese, Snack Crackers, Grahams or Sandwich Crackers
* $1/1 Burt’s Bees Towelettes (25 or 30 ct)
* $1/1 Sabra Branded Item 8 oz or larger
* $0.55/1 Brawny Paper Towels Package
* $1/2 SunnyD Products
* $0.55/2 JELL-O Pudding or Gelatin (3 oz or larger)
(Thanks, Growing Up On Coupons!)
Only like 10% of their money actually goes to wounded warriors. Most of it goes to commercials, funding, etc. Not wounded warriors. I’m not saying it’s not good to give here, but there are other organizations that make sure that money gets put to good use!
What are some of the other organizations? I’d like to support a group that designates more funds to the actual cause.
I tried the earth balance “coupon” and all it did was print a big ad for the product and wasted my ink. I called the company and told them, the rep said that was very weird, and offered to send me coupons. So ALL be aware if the product listed doesnt give a coupon dollar amount, all it will print is an ad.
I have a wounded vet in my household; does anyone know how this works?
i printed 7 coupons…they came out 3 per page.
these expire 10/03/14:
Silk, Cambell’s soup, Jell-O, Clorox bleach, Burt’s Bees Towelettes, Sabra
The 7th came on page by itself, was an add for Smart Balance saying “we’re going Non-GMO!….”. There was no coupon. After the printing, you get a page with a list of the coupons that printed and the expiration date of each. The Smart Balance one had N/A instead of a date; so, it isn’t a coupon apparently. I’ve already seen this Non-GMO stuff at a Walmart. They need to remove the check here box for it’s coupon?
I was confused about the Smart Balance, it looks like it’s just an advertisement, not a coupon, so I didn’t select it . My Sabra coupon printed with a 12/31/14 expiration.
Wow, a Hostess coupon. Very rare.
Printed that one and the wording is: of any (2) box of hostess snacks or bagged donettes. Make it seem like you have to buy 2 boxed or 1 bag of donettes to get the $1 off.
Would be better wording if it said: of any (2) hostess snacks (bagged or boxed).
It’s off 2 products, no matter if they’re boxed or bagged.
Woo Hoo! The Sabra coupon has an exp of 12/31/14. The rest I printed (Brawny, Hormel, Silk, Hostess, Jello) all expire 10/4/14.
I do support Wounded Warrior every year but my preferred one is TEAM RED, WHITE & BLUE. They’re a leading nonprofit org that helps all Veterans and they put at least 89% of funds for helping the soldiers. See their info and financials on their website and a link to donate. http://teamrwb.org/
any other place to get jello 55/2 coupon other than wounded warrior? It was here yesterday and I couldn’t get my printer to work, today its gone?
