I feel ya… we do it way too often as well.
Just did the garlic Alfredo spaghetti, I didn’t add the flour or cream and it still was great, thank you so much!

Thanks! Sat is usually pizza, hot dogs, po-boys or take-out for us only b/c I’m out of ideas and burnt out from cooking all wk! I’ve been trying to find quick, easy recipes so I’m not in the kitchen all darn afternoon. I can’t wait to try the French Dip!
It sounds like me… By Saturday I don’t want to cook anymore either… Saturday night we had homel and cream cheese dip for dinner… Buffalo chicken dip is another Saturday night fave! My kids hate frozen pizza so bad that is rarely an option…
So glad to help Mel! YW!
Thank you, It looks simple and easy, so I think I could do this, Will definitely try some of the recipe. Yum!!
Oh good! You’re welcome Jo!
Delivery is never a quick option for me, since it usually takes 1.5 hours to get here lol. I plan a menu for the week though & almost always stick to it. It’s all about finding out what works for you. We eat out twice per week, just our preference. Normally Tuesday & Saturday, has switched to Wednesday & Saturday until we’re done with football. If we were missing an ingredient, something went bad, just want something different, there’s always some option just from the pantry. Could be soup & sandwiches, frozen meal, spaghetti, etc.
Awesome to hear that Rebecca! Definitely good to have a weekly meal plan π
Bookmarking this! Love the variety too! Thanks Danielle π
You’re very welcome! π
A fun and easy pizza you can make at home is on a flour tortilla. I just use spaghetti sauce for the sauce (or whatever tomato sauce we have) and then top it with your favorite spices and toppings. Then bake at 425 for about 7 or 8 minutes. The tortilla gets nice and crisp, so is like thin crust.
OH yum! Thanks for the suggestion!
Paula, the tortilla pizza sounds good! Do you use flour or corn tortillas?
It’s so frustrating looking for fast meals to make. These recipes claim to be 15 or 20 minutes to make, but the ingredients list calls for everything to be chopped and diced beforehand. So these meals end up taking much longer for me. *sigh*
I know quesadillas truly are a 10 min food! I just put chicken or whatever meat in tortillas with cheese and onions. Then heat up a can of black beans as a side. Top with sour cream, hot sauce, and cilantro. Feeling fancy? Guac only takes another minute to smash up an avocado and add some onion, lime, garlic powder, and salt. Another fast food prep wise are sheet pan meals. Just put chicken breasts and veggies on a sheet pan, season and bake for 30 min.
Thanks for this Collin! Was looking for quick meals! These all look good!
The Tuscan Chicken with Penne Pasta is delicious and quick. Highly recommend it!
