Here’s what Hip2Save readers have to say about Pinecone Research…
Love this! I got accepted just a few weeks ago. Already made like $21!! Yay 😊
I’ve done quite a few survey sites, and this one is my favorite. They always pay you $3 per survey (!!) And if there are issues, the customer service rep responds to my email promptly and accurately (a lot of other sites send canned non-personal responses that don’t even address the issue). I have been saving my credits up, and have $60 in my account to use for Christmas gift cards. Last year was about the same. Thank you for introducing me to Pinecone.
I signed up few weeks ago when you posted and already did one and received a check in the mail for it!
I joined once, but never got many surveys. Any feedback on how many anyone receives weekly?
Have you gone into your account and changed the settings? I remember having to do this and started getting more surveys. I average 2-3 surveys a week. Some months I might only get 2-3 surveys. It’s pretty hit or miss. So far I have made $150 for the year. Not a ton but I can’t complain.
I had been with pinecone for 10 years. Till this year when they made huge changes. Before that earning 3 dollars for every survey was normal. Now no more. They dont award as they use to. I have not earned anything since March this year.
I agree , they used to be my favorite survey site, but since they have changed things I never get surveys that I qualify for anymore . Disappointing
I agree……been doing their surveys for over 2 yrs and made some decent $$ , but this year they changed the amount to only getting $3.00 per survey and the new programs do not download properly – the last 12 surveys i have tried the survey is not available in my area . Very disappointed in not being able to participate .
Ugh. I think I was disqualified because my husband works for a major food manufacturer. 🙁
I joined just recently on October 16th. I’ve completed 2 surveys. Earned 300 points for each.
Awesome!
Used to LOVE pine cone! It was the only company that didn’t waste your time. Now it’s just like every other survey company.
Darn! Sorry to hear that Jessica! Thanks so much for your honest feedback!
I’ve been getting like 3 surveys a week for the past couple weeks… awesome!!
I signed up but the only survey I got from them was wanting me to install a shop tracker app to my Amazon account, which I wasn’t comfortable with.
I have been doing Pinecone for 3 years now and have been really pleased. I haven’t had any problems with the new system and seem to qualify for about the same amount of surveys as I did in the past.
Super glad to hear you have had such a great experience Sara! Thanks for sharing!
Please H2S staffers reconsider advertising this company. Read the comments & take note that this company is not as honest hi fair as it once was and you are promoting these poor business practices. You obviously operate at a higher standard so don’t help a company that doesn’t do the same.
Hi Sue! We certainly value reader feedback and are wondering what it is you find that’s not honest about the company? Thank you!
I really love Pinecone! The surveys usually follow the same format and I’ve even gotten a huge box of new Tide pods to test before. I usually cash out at least $10 every month.
I love pinecone. While they was working on the new system it was a little frustrating but they said to let them work out the kinks. I have been receiving surveys like I used to probably 3-4 a month for the past 2 months
My account has been locked for a while. I click on the forget password and follow all the instructions. Then it says password has been reset. When I try to login it says account has been locked. I’ve contacted customer service and they tell me to click on forgot password. 😞😥
That happened to me to, let them know and she will reset it to the password you had reset it to.
This happened to me and it was never resolved so couldnt use it 🙁
I am stuck in a mad circle of reset password emails right now that I can’t get out of. I’m getting no where.
I feel like I get nothing but emails for surveys I don’t qualify for. And you only find out after taking 15 minutes to fill out those pre-surveys. I’ve given up.
I know several senior citizens all of who registered with them a few years ago and not one ever heard back from them, I wonder if the staff at the company realize that they too will be senior citizens one day, and may get to deal with the fact that one company wants their opinion on anything.
I was told that there were not any opening for someone with my demographics. Oh well, maybe another time.
I have been a member for about 3 years. The frequency of surveys vary. I have always enjoyed the surveys. Good company.
I’ve been doing it for a month. I’ve made about $12 so far. I downloaded the app so it’s easier to keep up with.
Sweet! Thanks for the feedback Sarah! Glad to hear you have been able to start earning so quickly!
Glad I quit last year, was a waste of time.
I did cash a bit out, but it wasn’t worth it for me, especially since I felt like I was helping companies I didn’t want to support by giving them feedback on their marketing.
Also, system was clucnky and unpleasant to use.
Wasn’t compensated for completing serveys that wouldn’t submit due to technical issues.
They wanted me to just redo those.
No thanks.
There is better ways to earn money.
Also, we should vote on less taxes for us folks that are trying to make ends meet and quit allowing corporate welfare and endless tax breaks for the ultra wealthy. That way we wouldn’t have to pick up crumbs and could focus on enjoying life with our friends and families instead of getting distracted by these little odd jobs. Sorry, just frustrated that so many people that struggle don’t see the wholepicture and actually disagree with better wealth distribution when those that “made it” use our earth, water and air and often are not held accountable for polluting it. And the penalty fees that polluters often get out of paying could fo into cleaning our water, clean energy programs, healthcare, etc.
Thanks hip2save I recently joined and love it so far. Thanks for all you do.
Glad to hear it! You’re so welcome!
how long are these surveys?
Surveys usually take me 10 or 15 minutes to complete but I am in no rush. I find them interesting.
I love Pinecone. I get 2 to 3 surveys a week. They are easy and quick to fill out. I earn about $150 a year .
Are they only looking for people who work in marketing, manufacturing and food and drug retailers?
Each time you guys post about Pinecone I try the questionnaire and each time I’m denied. I tried again just now and the question if anyone in the household works in the occupations listed in the drop down menu- I chose no/ none- and got denied since we didn’t meet the occupation they are looking for… such a bummer!
Love Pinecone, one of my favorite survey sites.
In August I cashed out for $99. I had earned that since the first of the year. I currently have $41 in my account. The surveys are usually not that long and are worth $3 to me. Having said that, they do put you through a screening process that is irritating because you may or may not get picked. They used to only give you surveys that you actually qualified for so you knew you would get paid.
I signed up the 5th of October and made $24 so far along with testing a new product. By far my favorite survey company! I get 3 to 4 surveys weekly, they’re interesting. I’ve tried other survey companies and this one has remained consistent. 2 app ones that are okay would be surveysonthego and quick thoughts (only payout Amazon cards). I’ve tried about 20 different survey companies and prefer pinecone.
I followed the link and ended up at a site called Panda Research, not Pinecone. After going through the initial steps, the only surveys I saw required you to join another website before getting a survey and sometimes the “survey” was a link to another survey site, and you had to fill in all contact information and agree to receive emails from these sites. And the affiliated sites could be selling any information they receive, but I didn’t take the time to read every single privacy policy.
And most surveys paid well under $3, a lot of them paying $0.50 to $0.85. Other “surveys” required credit card information and a purchase in order to participate. Based on the description, I was expecting to join Pinecone survey site and simply complete surveys, not join a bunch of other websites and other survey companies. It just doesn’t seem worth it to fill up my inbox with a lot of junk email from companies in which I’m not interested.
So odd, as I find the links above to lead me to Pinecone. Are you using a mobile device? Sometimes that can cause an issue. Thanks for your feedback Laura!
I did these surveys back in 2013/2104 but quit doing them because I felt too busy. I decided I’d like to start up again so I sent an email to them and they reactivated my account. The format is so much better than before! I’ve received about one a week since I joined 3+ weeks ago.
It’s the little changes that will make
