Just had a total knee replacement and this has been a life saver! It is gel so never gets real hard and will contour to affected area. Velcro straps work great too. Can be used for hot or cold. Other packs get as hard as rock and apply pressure to sore area, which is something you don’t want! Returned all the others and ordered 2 more of these. This pack stays cold for about 25 mins, anymore than that can be harmful so if you fall asleep with it on it will not cause damage to affected area. Refreezes in about 30 minutes to reuse. Best pack I have ever owned!

      I just bought one earlier this week at this price. We haven’t used it yet but it seems fairly sturdy and well made. If I remember right the reviews were good too. The little ones from Target and Walmart are always leaking so I’m hoping this one will hold up.
