My Mom had a pan just like this and used it for years, and it might well have been the same brand. I grew up with wonderful baking all my life and never realized how important the right pan makes. She passed on, but I couldn’t locate her pan, and I was heartbroken. Over the years I’ve bought more than a few loaf pans, but none of them work for me like this one! Perfect for big loaves of bread–I don’t have to fiddle with smaller loaf pans, when my hubby goes through bread like lightning.
It’s nice and deep and makes a beautifully tall loaf, which comes out easily. It was disconcertingly frail when I took it out the box, but its lightweight and thinness makes for smoothly browning and even cooking throughout. Any bread I make-zucchini/banana/carrot fruit breads, raised breads, cinnamon rolls, pound cake, you name it-comes out gorgeous. I am so completely in love with this pan!
Great pan for bread. I make sourdough bread often and normally make six loves at a time to keep up with the family demand. So I was looking for a long pan that will allow me to fit two loaves in one so I can use three long pans in one oven instead of squeezing in six normal ones into two…..only three can fit in a normal-sized oven with room to allow for spring. These pans are perfect! They are very deep so the pan keeps the rise well contained and they hold the oven spring great. Makes a perfect double-length loaf. The only slight downside is that they are delicate so you need to be careful to not dent or bend them. However, they make a fantastic loaf, let the baked loaf release easily and cook it very uniformly with no over-browned bottoms of your loaves.

My favorite bread to make is this one here. It makes two loaves and I usually add butter, cinnamon and sugar to my desired taste just before rolling it up in step 4. Hope that helps! 🤗

This is literally the easiest bread to make, I keep wild sourdough starter too & add this in when I don’t want all the instant yeast you can cut it way down if you replace some of the water with wild sourdough starter…which is also very easy to make.
