This cord-free vacuum comes with two removable batteries so when one dies, you can swap it out and just keep on going. This gives you up to 80 minutes of runtime which is way better than the 20 minute runtimes we’ve experienced with other brands (ahem, Dyson).

I love this cordless vacuum! It is relatively lightweight, glides along the hardwood and area rugs very easily, has good suction, and is easy to use. I love that it comes with two rechargeable batteries, and I have found that one will last through one and a half (maybe even two) whole-house cleanings on the bare-floor setting in my nearly 2,000 square foot house with all hardwood and a few area rugs, before needing replacing.
I’ve only had my Shark for about a week now but I really do love it. The ION is so versatile. I can do my carpeting, hardwood floors, under beds, and steps too. The battery seems to have pretty good longevity so far and it comes with two batteries.
I love that this vacuum is cordless allowing seamless use from room to room without interruption for outlet change. The fact that it comes with TWO batteries is a huge plus for me and my favorite feature as I like to do whole house vacuuming at once. The motor and suction are super strong, but amazingly quiet, and it switches easily for different surfaces. The handheld feature is an added bonus especially for hard to reach areas, high ceilings, wooden blinds, etc.
I had another cordlesss vacuum before this one, but this Shark cordless Stick has won me over! It’s amazing. I can vacuum under the couch without moving the couch and with 2 boys, it’s something I do a lot!
