Swimply Lets You Rent Other People’s Swimming Pools By The Hour (Hello, Airbnb for Pools!)
Want to host a pool party, but don’t own a pool?
If you’d love to relax in a pool with family and friends, but don’t own a swimming pool, meet Swimply! Swimply is an Airbnb-like online marketplace for pool sharing that connects owners of private pools with people looking to get their feet wet! 💦 Essentially, Swimply is a service that allows you to rent other people’s swimming pools by the hour!
How does Swimply work?
Pool owners list their pools on Swimply, customize their accounts, and decide when exactly their pools are available for rent. Non-pool owners can read user reviews, see all the pools available to rent, and book directly on Swimply.
What’s awesome is that Swimply allows non-pool owners access to an otherwise inaccessible luxury, while allowing pool owners to earn an effortless, substantial income from their underutilized pools. Talk about a win-win! 🙌🏻
Ready to cool off?
Whether you’re just wanting to escape the heat for a few hours or are planning a pool party in another state, Swimply will connect you with pool owners near you. Just head here and enter your zip code to start browsing. Note that many areas don’t have much available yet, however, the bigger cities definitely seem to have more options.
Each Swimply listing includes photos and a description of the property, as well as included amenities if available (such as towels, toys, BBQ grills, and lounge chairs). You’ll also find other helpful information, like the maximum guest limit, whether children are allowed, privacy info, and the cancellation policy.
Note that the per-hour rates of each listing will vary by region. However, I was able to find several listings near me with prices under $50 per hour (rental fee extra)! If you split the cost with friends, you’ll be able to enjoy a splashing, good time without breaking the bank. Don’t mind if I do!
