Please delete my email address. Stupid autofill must have put it there!
I wish there was edit button!
The links all just go to Target’s homepage. Is there somewhere specific to register because I don’t see it anywhere on their site.
Ditto
If you click on the Target picture it goes to the correct place. The links just go to the Target website
Maria, so sorry about that! We just updated the post with the correct links!
Thanks!
Does anyone know if the 25% off toy coupon can be stacked with the Military discount? I’m questing no, but figured someone might know.
I’m wondering that too!
Hi, Blueyeturtlelover! The 25% off coupon says it cannot be used with any other category or threshold coupon. This means it probably won’t work with the military discount. Hope this helps!
Thanks for your reply!
This bugs me. I’m not sensing anyone a photo of my military Id. Anyone know if you can show them in store and get the discount?
You actually don’t send a pic of your military id. They list a few documents you can use to prove your military status. They do also ask you blackout any sensitive information. I hope this helps!
I fell the same way!
I feel if I entered all the information that it asked for which can verify 29 years of service there should be nothing else that needs to be done.
And I agree with you why can’t you just show your ID in the store .its not worth it.
Thank you for your service!! 🇺🇸
Thank you for your Service! 🇺🇸
I just spent a large amount at target and wonder if I they will still do the 10 percent off the item after I purchased once I verify my Military status?
Typically you couldn’t go back and add a coupon after the fact. But you could return the item and repurchase with your coupon.
“Cannot be combined with any other Category Coupon.

So nice of Target to offer 10%. I am just so opposed to offering all this personal information tied to military service online—especially with their history of data security breach.
I’ll be using in-store instead and again, thankful for them offering this discount.
This is very similar to the Sea World verification and such. I did the Sea World verification to no avail. I just get terrified at the thought of who might be getting our personal information and if it’s real secure? Target should do like Lowe’s does.
I am opening a can of worms here: As a child of a father that served in WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam Conflict (27 years), my family did not get any special discount or bonus. When I asked my father why he served, he said it was his duty as an American. To accept a discount just because of doing his duty would diminish those years of service. My 2 cents.
Are you serious? This is not the place for a discussion like this. How nice of Target to offer something, and it is not a disrespect to their service to accept. Of course they don’t sign up for the military to get discounts in stores! How silly!! But they should certainly be able to accept the “thank you” stores and other places offer them without feeling judged by people. When someone offers you a birthday gift do you tell them “oh no I wasn’t born for the purpose of getting presents” or do you just say thank you and accept??
I agree Kay. While Lizard has the right to not participate in the discount, I wonder why this person clicked on the deal in the first place. Was it to find out more information about the deal or to try to make the rest of us feel bad for wanting to participate? Most of us clicking on this promotion are probably tied to the military in some way and are all proud of our service or are family members’ service. My family has a number of members who have served in our nation’s wars and conflicts (going back just as far as Lizard’s dad) because it was their duty or for whatever personal reason it was to them. While they didn’t receive any discounts, they would be happy that some businesses are recognizing veterans. My father, a Vietnam Vet, is happy that my husband, an Afghan Vet, is being thanked and recognized even if he wasn’t for many years.
Also, many service members do not make very much money for the amount of hours they work and struggle to make ends meat each month. Some have to pick up food from their local food banks in order to help feed their families. To be able to save more while shopping can make a big difference to these families. They might not have the luxury of turning away a discount “because it was their duty” based of their financial reality.
By the way, thank you to Hip2Save for the information on the discount! My email arrived about 2 minutes after I filled out the information.
Try to make sure that the separation year you are entering matches your dd214. I put in the wrong year and it asked me to verify by uploading something (which I thought was too much to do for 10%) so I tried again and put the correct year, and the discount was sent instantly without the need to verify by using any other documents!
Happy Veterans Day
