Wow! Kenmore is doing some amazing things on Facebook! Just head on over to the Kenmore Facebook page, “Like” them, then click on the “Cookies4Troops” tab to send a dozen cookies to a soldier away from home with your personal message of support. Even sweeter—by helping them reach their goal of sending a quarter million cookies to the troops, Kenmore will donate $50,000 to Heroes at Home Wish Registry to assist military families in need.

Can you believe that within just a few minutes (possibly less) you can send a batch of cookies and a simple holiday greeting to a soldier? …and you won’t have to spend a penny out of your pocket to do so. Please, please take a few minutes out of your day to send some cookies. I can also promise, by doing this, you’ll get that warm and fuzzy feelin’ inside and a huge smile will start to develop on your face! 🙂

All cookies sent to the troops are 100% natural and fresh baked by Katy’s LLC, a company dedicated to supporting the military community. Rich in fiber and high in protein, Katy’s cookies are the ideal treat for soldiers away from home.

  4. Rebecca

Just deployed some chocolate chip cookies! : )

  5. Anon

I sent them! That’s an awesome idea! My only question…is the ingredient that makes these cookies fiber-rich the same magical ingredient in the Fiber One bars? Ever since trying those little gems, I’m wary about anything fiber-rich!!! Would hate to wish that fate on anyone, let alone someone doing such a great service to our country. LOL.

thanks! just a few minutes to hopefully brighten someone’s day if they’re away from family for the holidays.
and a question: i know there are probably a lot of military readers here, so i was wondering if anyone might know if there are any organizations or places where i can donate some of the free samples i get in the mail? i don’t even know if soldiers need things like toothpaste, etc, but i always see those donation baskets at the checkout in walgreens or cvs for things like gum or pringles, and was wondering if there is anywhere i can give things to? travel sized items are great, but there’s only so much i myself can use! in the past i’ve given a lot of these things to shelters or the red cross, but was wondering if those deployed might be able to use them as well.
    thanks!

Great idea..and it doesn’t take much effort so there is NO reason why everyone can’t do it! I have also baked my own cookies for the soldiers. I have had friends over there in the past and currently and usually send them cookies for the Holidays but send a lot extra to share. Baking cookies is SO simple and easy. These men and women love to know that someone (even a stranger) thinks about doing something for them. It makes all the sacrifice and all they do worth it when they are appreciated. This year I sent huge bags of candy (to give to the Iraqi children). For him and his fellow troops to hand them out and see them smile is priceless.

Kinda on-topic….I am looking for a military mom who is in need of assistance (who uses Similac) that I could send all the coupons and baby samples to that I get. I have SEVERAL items that would help someone out, but have no need of them personally and don’t want them to go to waste. I know I could donate them to a women’s shelter…but I thought if I had ONE person to help that I could make a significant impact.

      Hi Kelly!

I’m an Army wife and mom to a baby boy who uses Similac. My hubs is currently on his 2nd tour in Iraq. If you’re offer is still available I’d love to make use of any coupons you have to share :o) My email is ariannem2002@yahoo.com if you’d like to get a hold of me. Thank you!

  25. Arianne
