Check out the comments below from readers who have purchased Artscow products in the past…

Just received my make-up bags and they are sooo cute. I bought 14 bags for only $30 and I received them 2-3 weeks after I ordered them. I already gave two as birthday gifts and they love them! Thanks for the great tip!

My sister gave me one for Christmas and I just ordered 2 more for myself. It was the best gift ever! I also got a TON of free stuff when I signed up. Well over $300 of free stuff but I pay shipping. I am worried it was a mistake to give me that much free stuff. Until I know otherwise, every one I know will be getting Artscow stuff all year.

I just gave one of these to a friend today for Christmas and she loved it! After she got home and was showing her family they asked her to call me to find out where it came from because they all wanted one. I’ll have to pass on this deal to them all!

I love the ones I ordered! I ordered all different sizes and all different pictures. Very nice quality – but yes they do take a long time to arrive. I think mine took just over 30 days from the day I ordered.

(Thanks, Jacqueline!)

Great gift idea! I’m going to order these for holiday gifts and fill them with things like the little travel size items from bath & body works that I pick up free during the year! 🙂

off topic: I just thought I’d share my cute mistake:

This is a facebook conversation – my sister posted a military link thing and this is the comments:
Christie ******* email this to Collin on Hip2Save – her hunny is in the military and she posts things like these in her blog
Misty ****** yeah that is where I found it 🙂
Christie ****** haha – I just realized I called her hubby, her hunny – lol I guess she would agree!

These are awsome! I ordered a few the last time they had this deal and gave away a couple as gifts. I kept one (with all five kids on it) and it now it holds all my bed, bath and beyond and restaurant coupons. Works like a charm. The XL size also has an internal pocket.

Ordered again yesterday. These are great bags.

A question for you since you have the XL one. I’m looking to get an iPad and thought this might make a cute bag for it. It seems like the dimensions would be okay for width and height. But how wide does the bag come apart? Do you have any idea if an iPad would fit okay (especially with a cover on it) in the XL one? Thanks!

    • Lynn_N

Are the XL bags available for a special deal. This posting appears to be for the medium size bag.

      • Lori

No, I don’t think there is a deal on the XL. I just was curious about it.

        • Michelle

Go to their webpage and click on special deals on the top. Their laptop covers/cases are on sale right now at a great price.

Off topic: We’re currently researching a trip to Disney World for our nearly 3 year old daughter. We also have a 4mo old. I’d love to hear tips, etc for saving money as well as must do things for this age group. Thanks.

    • Jennifer K

Def. pack your own food. Try to avoid buying food within the parks. Disney does let you bring things in but they just have to search your bags for security reasons. Freeze your water bottles over night so when you get to the park, they have time to thaw so it’ll be cool for at least half of the day.

With parking, park at downtown disney (which is free) then take the free shuttle bus to the parks so you dont need to pay for parking. the busses run frequently and have AC!

      • mercered2000

Unfortunately, the buses at downtown disney do not go to the parks, they only go to the resorts. The resort buses are only for the guests staying on property.

We are from the Orlando area originally. It’s SUPER hot and humid there, so make sure to take lots of water. Here’s a tip I learned when we took one of my children to Sea World one summer when he was still a little baby. We had a tent fan just like this one: https://www.coleman.com/coleman/ColemanCom/detail.asp?CategoryID=6000&product_id=2000001021 and clipped it to the stroller awning so the baby had a constant breeze on him in the hot weather. I definitely recommend that.

      • ANNA

I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND NOT GOING IN THE SUMMER.IT’S TO HOT!!! WHEN I FIRST WENT WE WENT IN AUGUST.(TO HOT)THE 2ND TIME WE WENT IN APRIL.(THAT WAS THE BEST TIME.NOT TO HOT AND NOT TO COLD JUST RIGHT)THE 3RD TIME WE WENT WAS MAY.(IT WAS STILL TO HOT FOR ME) I KNOW SEVERAL PEOPLE THAT WENT ON ARE FALL BREAK IN OCTOBER AND IT STILL WAS TO HOT THE TEMPS WAS IN THE HIGH 80’S.THE NEXT TIME WE GO I WANT TO GO AROUND THANKSGIVING OR CHRISTMAS TIME,WHICH I THINK THE WEATHER SHOULD BE NICE.I TOOK MY DAUGTHER WHEN SHE WAS 6 MONTHS OLD . SHE WAS ABLE TO GET ON JUST ABOUT ALL THE RIDES.I ONLY REMEMBER HER ONLY NOT GETTING ON 1 RIDE THAT SHE COULD’NT RIDE.SHE LOVES DISNEY WORLD SHE BEEN AROUND FOUR TIMES ALREADY AND WILL BE GOING IN APRIL WITH HER HIGH SCHOOL BAND AND WITH MY HUSBAND AND HIS GRANDKIDS IN JUNE.(TO HOT FOR ME)

Have you checked out MouseSavers.com? Lots of great tips on there. I buy my park tickets through AAA when I go to Disney. If you stay at a Value Resort (nice rooms at pretty low rates…they also have AAA rates as well as other discounts if you call and ask) you don’t even need a car unless you want to go off exploring Orlando…they have free Disney shuttles to take you to ANY of the Disney parks, hotels, Disney Village (shopping/restaurants/entertainment area). Also, if you’re just going to stick with Disney and not try to bring all your own food or eat “off Disney”, go ahead and get the meal plans. Especially with a 3 year old, it may be better for you to not worry about food and just have that so you can eat wherever/whenever you want.

    • momwhocares

look up the fmaily packages – they give huge discounts and even meal discounts. I can’t rmember how it works, but you get to choose from pre-designed meal courses and you get a big discount – that way you have your whole day planned, even the meal is set for you. (contact a travel agent – best bet is to shop around to get the best offer/price)
This will save loads of time as you NEVER want to go in not have the day planned and spend most of your time walking around trying to find where you want to go and what to do. ALso, you can plan your trip around the place to eat, so you do not have to venture back to a locker to get it and waste more time – you can keep moving forward. And, you dont have to carry bags full of things – pack lightly what your bring.

Definatly bring water bottles – frozen ones are a great tip by Jennifer! Then refill at water fountains, bring crystal light packates to flavor your water and save on buying flavored drinks. I know I get tired of water and always give in for a lemonade or flavored drink – so this will help that, plus carries easily in the pocket. 🙂

Bring protein bars (look for the ones free with coupon deals collin posts – that way you stay with energy and not get hungry – keep your meals light)

** Grew up in Florida and been to a lot of the amusement parks there – much was learned. 🙂

      • Neely

        Thanks. These are great suggestions!

      • Cindy

http://www.mapleleaftickets.com has the CHEAPEST tickets – and tax is included.
For $6.95 they will deliver the tickets to your hotel too.
We used them and they are reputable.
        Have fun! We LOVE Disney!!

Also – for hotels – look at hotels.com I just did some research for a friend for Disney and they had the best rates. I ALWAYS use hotels.com because after 10 nights, you earn one free. And they average your previous nights to give you a “voucher” for the average price you paid for the other nights and you can use it at any hotel on their site that participates with the program! We just got a night at The Mandalay Bay in Vegas for $17 after using our voucher! YAY!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

We packed our own food because of my daughters food allergies. I don’t think anyone mentioned this but it has to be a SOFT pack cooler in order to get into the parks. The nice thing about the frozen water is acts as your icepacks. Take snacks either way. There is nothing worse then when a kid is hungry with another 20 min in a line.
Also we hit up the Disney Store prior to our trip (without the kids) and got the kids some sale toys. We put them in the trunk and gave them to the kids at the end of the day. They were so busy, tired and excited they didn’t even notice. It’s been a year and they still say it came from Disney.

It is not taking the coupon code lWD38BAGS . What am I doing wrong? Anyone else having trouble?

    • julie

Yes,- mine still comes to Items $59.94
      Kit Price $4.98
      Shipping/Handling $25.94
      Coupon Discount ($69.88)
      Order Total $20.98

      no free shipping?

      • julie

I think it is because I ordered ‘kits’ ?? still $20 is great for 8 bags.

      • julie

Ok, yes mine is definitely more because I used third party kits.

  7. Sherilyn

Does anyone know if it costs extra to put text on the bags?? I tried working with the text for a little while….but couldn’t get it to save/and show up on the photo/bag. Has anyone done this…and would you be willing to give any hints how to do it??? Thanks.

    • julie

I ended up using some pre made layouts…it was pretty time consuming but fun.

  8. jill

Wow what a great website, i ordered 3 bags for that great price and now hundreds of FREE credits to choose from! I already ordered magnets for family 10 for free. shipping was 6.something… can’t beat it!

  9. Laura V.

By the way, this code works for any size bag!! I just ordered 3 xl bags for 8 dollars total (including shipping). It’s a little confusing because when you go to check out you will see the price at 8 dollars on the right-hand side. You will also see the shipping options and it looks like shipping will be extra–but it won’t. Just make sure you keep it as the standard shipping and don’t change it to the fedex expedited shipping (or whatever the other option is).

    • SW

The code lWD38BAGS did not work for me. Can you tell me if you did something different? Thanks
