Sears: Ultra Plus Powder Laundry Detergent 275 Loads Only $13.49 w/ Free Store Pick-Up
If you are in need of laundry detergent and live near a Sears store, you’ll want to take note of this deal! Head on over to Sears.com where you can snag Ultra Plus Powder Laundry Detergent w/ Stain-Fighter, 275 Loads for only $13.49 (regularly 26.99!) with FREE store pick-up. That works out to just 5¢ per load which is a great price in my opinion!
Although I am not personally familiar with this brand of detergent, I was amazed at all the 4 and 5 star reviews. Check them out below…
We have used Ultra Plus for several years and recently decided to try another brand. Believe me, as soon as the new brand is gone, we’re back to Ultra Plus! There’s just no comparison.
I’ve been using this for 15 years and I have recommeded this to my family and friends over the years and they use it now. I put the powders in while the washer is filling so the powders will dislove and after the washer is full I put my clothes in. Thank you Sears for selling this!
* Go through ShopAtHome.com for 10% cash back (regularly 3% cash back)!
(Thanks, Homemaker HandGuide!)
I just bought 10! thanks so much!!!!!! We’re out of detergent and I hate shopping, so any time I can get a deal like this I bulk buy!!!

Ok , i got it now , i was on Sears PR page , jajaja
My mom used this detergent when I was young, and now I use it for my family. A large container of this product lasts at least 6 months in our large family!
Sounds great, but I am going to wait to order this until I hear some testimonials from hip2save readers! 🙂 Has anyone used this for HE machines and what do you think of it?
If you’ve ever been to sears, visit the area where they sell laundry machines. This detergent is EVERYWHERE. It’s very popular with HE users we use it and as Dawn said above, it lasts what seems like forever. My son is very sensitive with detergent so far the only thing that works is the Purex sensitive and when my mom brought home some of this (was part of a promotion at sears a while back) we’ll never buy anything else. It’s great! We have Samsung front loaders ( don’t know the exact model) and we’ve NEVER had a problem with soap build up either. It’s truely one of those been around forever brands that’s still worth every penny!
Thanks for the post Collin! We have some from a few months ago when Sears was running a promotion with their machines/laundry purchases, but at this price I’m gonna get more!
Thank you, Ashley!
You’re very welcome!
I agree with Ashley.. visit a Sears and see this product everywhere. Love the product..
I have used this in the past. It works very well.
Works good! I have used it in the past. I usually use liquid now but who could pass up a deal like this. I just looked and my detergent from Costco costs the same and it is half the loads.
Thanks Collin! I have never tried this detergent, but based on the word of hip2savers I ordered 3!
use promo code SEARS5OFF50 to get $5 off with purchase of $50 or more
Haven’t tried the code personally, but my friend sent me this If you buy 4 boxes you can get 5 dollars off
$5 off $50+

SEARS2012
This is great detergent, especially for an HE machine. Don’t forget to go through shopathome.com for 10% back. Use code SEARS2012 for $5/50. I bought four boxes, used the code, for a little over $48. Thanks Colin!
Thanks, I ordered 4 boxes and used this code. I think that will last us quite a while since we are now empty nesters. 🙂
Have been using this same detergent for 10 years now. That is how long we have had our Whirlpool Duet frontload washer and dryer. My sister told me about this product she read about in Consumer Reports. It was compared to Tide. I bought a box of it back then, and haven’t looked back. One time I ran out of the Advanced powder and used Tide and another product not sure if it was Gain or Purex..but it didn’t clean my clothes or last as long as Advanced Forumula Ultra Plus.. Family of 2 and I do many loads of laudry a week due to having 3 cats and..I even was my handwashables/delicates in my HE frontload washer and use this detergent.. Last time I didn’t catch it on sale..usually do..but I paid $28 for the same size box being advertised.. so I picked up 2 for us..this should last us 2 1/2 years, with what I still have on hand. Thanks Collin and Homemaker HomeGuide.
I’ve used this brand for years & love it; it’s one of those things that so few know about but those that do love it. It has very low sud factor, which is much better for your machine & clothes. I see it on sale every few months & love it as one box can last my family of 5 about 4-6 months depending on laundry needs.
I bought 2 as well if it does not get stains out or clean as well as others I will just use it on towels or jeans 🙂
Roxanne..don’t think you will be disappointed.. I use Oxyclean for even tougher stains..As we all know some stains require extra stain fighting solutions. ..I think you will enjoy this to the point where you will not want to use any other detergent.. and it lasts so much longer.
I purchased this recently when one of the hardcore savings sites went on and on about it. Several of the posters said it was “free & clear” even though it doesn’t use those terms. Picked mine up, and it had fragrance in it, which we cannot do. I was very disappointed as it’s a bit of an ordeal to take my kiddos to Sears for a detergent pickup–and subsequent return. All that to say, my box was orange, not green like this. Maybe the green is free of dyes and fragrances??? Can someone comment?
Stacy..I just read my box and it does not claim to be ‘free of dyes and frangrances’. Just so you know..so you don’t purchase in regret later. It has a mild smell..nothing strong..but if your family members are very sensitive to dyes/frangrance, I think I would stick to something that states it on the package. But I do know the one with fabric softener in it ..does have a frangrance in it. HTH..
Thanks for this. Fragrance is an issue for me too. Bummer, was tempted to try it.
I commented above, though I’m not in your situation I have a child that has a serious allergy to detergents we’ve only found one detergent that will work, aside from this. We use this all the time now and have never had a problem with any rashes or irritants, but as its your family and not mine I can see how you’re reserved. But it really is a great detergent that lasts a long time and has never caused problems for my son!
Stacy, they do make a variety that is free of dye and perfume . . . it is in a baby blue box, but this particular sale does not apply. If you keep an eye out, they periodically go on sale for $15 (regular $20) for the 125 load box. Not as crazy-good as this posted deal (probably clearance of some sort?), but still a good deal on a good detergent.
I bought 2 boxes based on the great review, plus I will be set with laundry soap for a LONG time. We have no frangrance issues, so I am excited to pick it up. I think I can pick it up right away, right?
My mom bought several a couple of months ago. She got a super deal on them, and she said it’s very comparable to Tide. She really likes it. (I’m still stocked up, so I don’t need any for a few months yet)
The only detergent I use. It’s good. We have 4 boys who love to play outside, so I know 😉
I have a Whirlpool Duet He washer and this was the detergent recommended by a plumber friend of mine. I have had no problems with soap build up and my machine is going on 8 years now. It cleans clothes great! I love this stuff! I bought 4 boxes. This came at a great time because I am almost out. Thanks
Item unavailable 🙁
I just purchased 4…go through Shop At Home and then search Ultra Plus when redirected to the Sears site. Used the $5/$50 promo code SEARS5OFF50 and free shipping to store. SYWR members don’t forget to enter your member number so you get your points!
whoohoo!! I ordered and out at store so they are sending to me for freeeeee!!! And for some reason, when they sent the cancellation order for me to pick free shipping the price went from $52 to $33. I used the 5/50 code…worked great. excited to try with five boys:)
I have used the free of dye and perfume variety of this detergent for the last 12 years- back when we first bought a front loader. It’s great! With our family of four, one box or bucket lasts us at least 6 months. I do prefer the unscented variety, which is often a bit more expensive. If you watch the Sears ads, they usually have this detergent half price about once/month.
Was this just on sale yesterday, Monday only??? I went today and it is $26.99! darn
