FYI, Rite Aid usually puts store coupons on items that are expiring soon so most people will probably not find them and you might not want them anyway.
Agree. I saw this last time they had the baby food on sale and when I looked at the exp. date it was few days from the date I would have purchased it so I decided not to buy it. We won’t finish it before that date so why waste the food.
I agree! I always check the expiration dates when I see those coupons on food at Rite Aid. However, if you do accidentally buy something expired, be sure to take it back rather than throw it out. I did once, and they apologized and had no issues exchanging it for a new one.
Than you Amanda. I never paid attention to the expiration date. :-/
I always check expiration dates. I usually pull food from the back of the shelf instead of taking what’s at the front (however, I have noticed that one Rite Aid near me doesn’t tend to rotate their stock so sometimes the oldest is actually at the back). I even check non-food items like face wash and toothpaste!
Also, there is a $1/2 RA load2card coupon
thanks janelle!
I’ve been q’ing for several years and I have to agree with Amanda. Drugstores in our Atlanta area always have short-dated food items. You have to check everything you buy. Milk has been a big problem in WGS stores.
I’ve gotten bad milk at rite aid a couple times. Such a waste of money!
I get mine there all the time and it’s always been fine, but I do look at the date.
There have been many times I find something expired on the shelves (Claritin comes to mind), and I’ll bring it up front so they send it back instead of selling it to someone else who forgets to check the date. I am trying to get my husband to remember to check dates the few times he buys something at the supermarket or drug store.
ok I’m kinda of new to couponing at rite aid so can you use +up rewards in another transaction the same day? Thanks:)
no, not until the next day
OK thanks:)
