HAPPY SHOPPING! 😀
For the degree deodorant can we use 2x $1 off coupon on a BOGO and then stack the video values coupon?
Rite Aid does not allow a coupon for the “free” item.
Rite aid does allow coupons on the free items because I use them all the time.
Mary, their official policy says it’s not allowed. Your store may allow you to do so, however.
You are one of the lucky few then! Neither of the stores around me will and if the coupon is $1.00/2 and bogo free sale, they make you buy 4 so the coupon will apply to the 2 you are paying for. But, I have been using their Load2Card and those will deduct even on BOGO sales! A few wks ago, when Purex was B1G2 Free, I had loaded the .50/1 and $1.50/2. I was using the .50/1 IP and the L2C took off the $1.50/2, which I totally wasn’t expecting!
Rite Aid does not actually allow a coupon on the FREE item. In the above scenario, Collin is suggesting buying 4 Lipton teabags and using only 1 $1/2 coupon. That way the coupon would only be applied to the two regular price teabags and not the free ones.
Wow, everybody posted about BOGO coupons all at once! 😀 We are so hip, you guys! Lol.
Is the degree deodorant video value coupon still available since it was from November?
It’s not available to earn anymore but if you watched the video in November you can still print the coupon.
The B1G1 item really isn’t “free” we are paying half price for each item! The Lipton tea is only a deal if they take the $1/2 because my Meijer has tea on sale for $2.50 and RA’s is 3.00 before coupon… I think mine takes the coupon! If they do not I will not be buying their tea…
I have 4 Rite Aids around me and all of them will take 2 coupons. I think it depends only your Rite Aid.
it shouldn’t depend on the rite aid. it should depend on the company coupon policy that says it does NOT accept a coupon on a free item.
If you read the exact words of the coupon policy, you will understand why the scenarios differ.
It states you cannot use 2 coupons on a BOGO Free or BOGO % off Product…(ie….1 coupon on the item you purchase and another coupon on the Free item.)
It says nothing about using ONE coupon (which includes the cents off for TWO items)…..for a BOGO Free or BOGO % off Product. SO…..even if the store SALE is a BOGO Free, OR, BOGO % off…..the ONE cents off per 2 items coupon does work. Hope that helps a little.
robyn, the register will put allow us to use multiples by putting it in manually but when we scan it, it will not allow us, so it is really up to the cashier and the store manager. some of the store managers are more strict on enforcing it than others. but technically we are not suppose to. by the way, i work at rite aid.
I have about $40 in Up+ Rewards on my card. I was wondering if I only went in and spent $10 and used $4 in coupons how it would affect my total up+ rewards still on my card.
You should let them swipe your card AFTER you use the coupons, otherwise the system will automatically take off $14 for your purchase. If you use the card after, then it should only take off up to $6, providing the +UP amounts work. (i.e, if you have a $2, a $10 and a $4 +Up, I think it would take the $2 and the $4, not take it from the $10.) Hope that’s what you were talking about! 🙂
Thank you Laura, that was actually very helpful.
My experience is the register will take off UPs First, so if your subtotal is $10, it’ll take up to $10 in UPs (depending on the values you have). But as you give the cashier your manuf coupons, the register will readjust. My suggestion is if you have a smart/iphone, download the RA app. Then you can log into your acct and untick the UPs you don’t want to apply to the transaction. OR tell the cashier you want to opt of of the L2C option to have your ups printed on your receipt. You’ll still be stuck with those $40 UPs until you use them, but going forward you’ll have the paper UPs.
Great tip! I always forget about the order!
If you figure out what your total will be after your coupons ( how much of your ups you are going to need) you can use the rite aid app on your phone and select which ups you want to use and which ones you don’t want to use…….hth’s
is the 4-day sale regional or national? thanks
Same question
Does anyone know if this sale will overlap the weekly sale, for a double dipping situation?
my ad says 4 day sale- wed, thurs, fri, sat. it was only front and back, 1 piece of paper. yes, this overlaps the weekly sale.
I can’t find the Dove Anti-Perspirant or Deodorant coupon. It’s a link to Target’s website.
I live in Milton, WV and our Rite Aid isn’t having a 4 day sale. I was in there today, I thought maybe I just didn’t receive a flier (it’s not mentioned in the weekly ad either) and none of the sales that Collin posted here are in the store (for the 4 day sale).
I’m not sure if its just my region but the No-Nonsense socks are buy one get 2 free. The 6 pack of socks runs about $6.99 so that breaks down to $2.33/pack or $0.39 per pair. That is a GREAT deal.
The lipton tea bags are BOGO but you can’t combine them with the $3 sale
