  2. Loyda

That razor is in the June 8th’s Ad with $5 ECB. I just saw it on Iheartcvs

  3. meg

I agree with an earlier post…this coupon is not for that razor and collin updated the post and has left several comments stating this. Why are people still trying to use it? This is just another example of why so many stores are cracking down on coupons ans changing store policies. For petes sake be an honest couponer!!!

  4. Leslie

The 6945xl is also $29.99 and it is a 6000 series so the coupon can be legitimately used.

  5. jill simmons

    Got it! Montgomery, AL

  6. Amber

The 6945XL is part of the 6000 series & is also onsale for $29.99 I asked Philips Norelco myself on there facebook page. The 6945XL is the correct razor to use the $20/1.

  7. jill

Just bought 3…With no problem at all!

  8. Anna

Snagged this deal! Hubby needed a new blade and it was cheaper to get this deal! Thanks you saved me thirty bucks!!! 🙂

  9. Leag

I used the $20.00 off coupon and it worked fine for me. I’m in CT.

  10. Anna

They gave me this deal at cvs, got it for 9.99 with tax. Worked for me. :/

  11. Leah

I used the $20.00 off coupon and it worked fine for. I’m in CT

  12. Mrs. Harlow

I used the $20 mq. The casher told me the coupon was a scam but she still did it. 😀 I’m in CA

  13. Jane

I can’t in good conscious return this product for the full refund 29.99 n tax on a cvs gc. I paid 5.99 plus tax. But the store register doesn’t agree. Too weird. Gonna have to keep it.

  14. Michelle

I just went today with my husband and picked one up. The store manager gave us the deal, he said the 6000 series is the same as the 2000 series because they had the same UPC code on the bottom and CVS was trying to clearance it out. Luckily while I was there I ran into another random Couponer, the CVS manager was a little suspicious of the coupon because of the $20 high value but since the other Couponer had the same coupon with a different code he accepted them and did an over ride. The manager gave her one 6948XL series and I got one 2000 series. I hope people aren’t taking advantage of the situation but my husband and I honestly think if we didn’t run into a fellow Couponer we wouldn’t have gotten sweet this deal. Also, we did get to stack the coupon with the $4 off $15 Razor purchase. Thank you Collin!

My husband got it yesterday with the coupon & was so excited. He needed a new one so bad. And it was the last one they had!!! So the coupon worked for us… we weren’t able to get the CVS coupon though because I lost my card & they had to look it up… so didn’t have it to scan…

    • debra

You can input your phone number at the red machine to get your coupons without a card.

  16. Kay

Y’all if you don’t buy the correct product, the coupon does not work. How many times have you tried using a coupon only to find out you bought the wrong size than the coupon stated. The coupon doesn’t work. My coupon scanned just fine…the associate didn’t question anything. I don’t know how coupons work from the retailer perspective or how they end up getting their money back but I do know that many times stores have not accepted my coupon because it doesn’t scan…which was not a problem when I bought this razor.

  17. AthenasByLeandra

At my CVS there were 3 different razors on sale. One of which being the 2000 series, so I went to another CVS and they had the 6000 series on sale plus a few others. With that being said there are multiple ones being marked down depending on the store, so if your buying the correct one with this coupon, it is not coupon abuse. I still had to get an over ride for the coupon because it was $20 but they did it no problem!

  18. john

I just got back buying 2 of them. The only issue was that the manager had to approve, because of the amount of the coupon.Great deal in Chester,VA.

  19. OliV

I went yesterday and manager told me he did not take more than $5 coupons at his store because usually they are scams. He made it clear he would not accept the $20. SoCal 🙁

    • Sandra

I am in SoCal too and I used two at CVS. The 6000 series. the manager rang me up the first time. He had to scan his card because of the coupon amount. I ran home and printed another, same thing he told the cashier to scan his card and it went right through. sorry you had difficulty. I told him where the coupon was from. He said he should get one too.

  20. ybear2

I just printed off a $50.00 off coupon for the 6000 series at coupons.com. But I think I clicked on a link for another product. When i clicked on the link in the original post above I printed out the $20.00 coupon.

  21. ybear2

My mistake didn’t have my glasses on. The $50.00 is for the 8000 series. I went to my browser and typed in Phillips Norelco coupon it took me to the page with the coupon.

  22. Todd

I was gonna try and get this but its too confusing, frustrating and not worth my time, oh well.

  23. Ana

I just printed my coupons this morning headed over to CVS and was able to get 2. The magic machine printed a $3 off $10 razor. Making it $6.99 BT. It was easy…the manager approved it…totally worth the effort!

  24. Mrs. Harlow

I have 1 coupon for the razor. Anybody wants to have it just let me know. I can send that to you

    • Summer

      Mrs. Harlow,

I would love to have your coupon if it is available. Please email me nod I will give you my address. My email is as follows: jessicahribal@hotmail.com
      Thank you in advance.

      • Mrs. Harlow

Hi Summer – Sent you an email about the coupon. Hope you got it.

  25. Angie H

I bought 3 from 2 different stores. I didn’t have a problem with either one, they accepted the coupon no questions asked. Since it’s a “big ticket” coupon they need the manager to authorize it. I’m in a suburb north of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

  26. debbielynne

I got one today in Virginia with no problem. I purchased the 6945XL. In addition to the $20 off coupon I had the $4 off $10 razor coupon.

    • Liz

I think the 6945XL belongs to the 6000 series so you used the right coupon.

  27. Jim Davis

Hello Hip2save, love your site! Thanks for clarifying the 6948 razor is not in the 6000 series ?? As another twist on the razor deal, I went to my local CVS and although the 6948 Norelco was not marked at the shelf as. $29.98I took it to the counter and the lady price checked and it was $29.98. I thought woohoo I can use my $20.00 off coupon! The lady then said you don’t have a $20.00 coupon do you? I said, yes, she said, we can’t take it! I asked why not. – she s a message had come down from the big man! I said well, I’ll have to write a letter to the big man! Not the first time I have had troubles with CVS and hardly ever with Walgreens! Guess who is going to get my business!!

    • tammy

well you really cant blame them. you are trying to use an incorrect coupon!

      • Liz

I have to agree with tammy on this one. You indeed know that the razor doesn’t belong to the 6000 series and the coupon is only for 6000 series but still try to use the coupon anyway. So even if you write to the big man, I don’t think the employee will hardly get any trouble for doing what she was told to do. I was about to do this deal too, but as soon as I know the coupon is not intended for the product, I don’t even think twice and back out. If it’s an honest mistake (like we don’t know it’s the wrong coupon), it’s OK, but if it’s intentional, you shouldn’t blame anybody.

        • Jim Davis

Nah, I didn’t know the razor was not in the 6000 series until I returned home and started researching why CVS was declining coupons!!! I’m afraid you jumped to an assumption to accuse me of trying to fraud the coupon!! I too, believe honesty is best!! I do think the store could have had a better explanation for why they would not take the coupon rather than just because the big man sent a message!

    • Potato

Jim, have you read Walgreens’s coupon policy lately? Just saying you might not want to marry your decision there.

  28. Angelo

I would like one of these coupons please my email is l op ezangel8787@yahoo.com thanks

  29. sheik sajith

can someone email me a pdf version of a coupon – sheiksajith@gmail.com – pls

  30. Mo

Is the coupon still available? I don’t see it anymore…Thank you!

  31. Kristina

I got it last night! I bought the 6945XL razor. It was also on sale for $29 and Norelco confirmed it can be used with the 6000 series coupon on their Facebook. The $3 of $10 CVS coupon printed for me. It was $9 for me after tax. The coupon scanned no problem, manager just had to scan her CVS id because of the high amount, but she said it was legit and Norelco said it was legit. Thanks Collin!!!

    • Kristina

And just an FYI I saw the Norelco razor in the 2000 series in CVS earlier this week and did not buy it since the coupon was not meant for it. All other razors were out of stock. They refilled them last night, so I was able to purchase the correct razor. 🙂

  32. Curtis

I purchased the 6948 razor with the $20 coupon with no problems. The cashier said he had to do an override though. They were out of stock Sunday and I got the last one of the truck today

  33. Lori

I got my mine for $5.99! Used the $20 Norelco and a $4 off $10! Thanks!

  34. Purple

I will not say where I work but I work at a retail store. We are asked to make sure the coupon matches description and size of product. The manufacture offers the coupon for those specific items only. If they find out we let someone use it on an item that does not match the description, it is called coupon fraud. The only thing is that not every store’s system is set up to deny the coupon if it is not a matching product. For example if you have a coupon that states any Tide detergent 90 oz. or larger but you purchase a 50 oz. the coupon at our end might read, “no matching product” or it may just take it. This is why we are supposed to check it because a big percentage of the time it will actually take the coupon but it doesn’t mean that it is a matching product. The computers are just not set up to read whether or not the product matches with the coupon. What happens with a lot of the cashiers is sometime they don’t want to tell the customer that it didn’t match because they already scanned it and either can not void it or figure that the company will get their money anyways. It is true that the company will get paid the coupon back by the manufacture but if they find that they are not being used right the companies can get in trouble. A customer might get away with it just because the coupon scanned and the cashier accepted it and the next time they come in and another cashier follows the policy and refuses it, the customer will get upset thinking that the cashier is just being rude or something. At another store they fired employees for using coupons that did not match their product. Another problem with coupons is when something is on sale for $30 and someone has a coupon for $50 off then the cashier has to pay attention to that because the registers will take it at $50 and if the customer is purchasing more merchandise the other $20 will roll over as credit to pay for her other merchandise which is a big no no. The manufacture would not like to see their money spent on other products that are not theirs. I have heard couponers call this “money makers” which in reality is coupon fraud
