This jalapeno popper dip is an easy cream cheese-based appetizer dip that will please any crowd!

jalapeno popper dip

Whip up an easy appetizer for your next party!

Try making this crowd-pleasing Jalapeno Popper Dip for your next gathering! It has the same yummy flavors of a traditional jalapeno popper in an easy-to-serve and easy-to-eat dip.

Originally, this was inspired by a Kraft recipe, and we’re so happy we tried it because it’s no longer on the back of the cream cheese boxes nor can I find it on their website.

The best part? This recipe requires only seven ingredients, and you most likely have a few of them already in your pantry!

jalapeno popper ingredients

This jalapeno popper dip will turn anyone into an instant spicy lover!

If you know anyone who isn’t a fan of spicy foods, this balanced appetizer is the way to convert them. The cheesy blend complements the jalapenos perfectly, and you’ll have the entire household wanting more. The crushed crackers as a topping give it a wonderful crunch. It’s comfort food at its finest.

The dip is supposed to be served warm, however, it is also yummy cool or at room temperature. Try the dip with your favorite crackers or chips.

There’s really no other way to describe this other than convenient, delicious, and easy.

It’s so good it’ll be gone within minutes!

This is going to be such a fan favorite. According to readers who have tried this, there are never any leftovers… it’s THAT good. This would be a perfect addition to a potluck or any get-togethers you may have approaching!

A friend of mine recently made this dip, and it was gone in a flash so consider doubling it and serving it in a larger pan if you expect a big crowd (or people who are coming with big appetites!). Enjoy!

    Lina,
This recipe sounds SO good! Is this the recipe your friend used? I am always looking for good things to take to covered dish suppers or get-togethers. Thanks!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Yes! I asked her and made it myself. Yum! A great one to take to a potluck 🙂

  2. Rae

Omg one of those recipes that makes me want to LEAP off the paleo bandwagon. I <3 poppers and this looks amazing.

  3. Trish

Looks yummy! I’m having some ladies over in a couple weeks and was looking for something just like this! Can’t wait to give it a whirl! Thanks!

How does anyone think it would taste with reduced fat cream cheese and mayonase?

    • Kelly

I made jalapeño popper hamburgers one time with low fat cream cheese and it didn’t taste too great.

    • Jennifer B.

The Kraft recipe (this was adapted from) calls for reduced fat mayo. I often cook with the reduced fat cream cheese and haven’t noticed a difference, so I would think it would be worth a try.

I have an amazing spinach artichoke dip that gets requested for potlucks. I tried it once with reduced fat cream cheese and it totally changed the consistency of the dip. I thin b/c low fat has more water to compensate for the missing fat and dishes are not as creamy.

    • shelly

i use the 1/3 less fat cream cheese for everything and no one can ever tell. It just spreads easier.

I skip the topping. We’re all vegan but I like to bring a vegan and non vegan dish to get togethers. This is always a hit.

  6. Brindha

Looks yummy…. Will be awesome for a crowd!

  7. Jarrod

    • Csandst1

Remove the seeds and rinse to reduce heat even more.

  8. Daniel

This with bacon ritz sounds awesome. thanks!

    • Ger

Good call, those bacon ritz are great!

      • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Yes and actually I saw another version today with chopped bacon in the cheese. Omg..lol 🙂

        • Lisa

I make poppers wrapped in bacon rather than breading, was going to comment this same exact thing…that some bacon would surely improve this recipe!

  9. Ger

Thanks Lina, you’ve done it again, another great recipe!

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      You’re welcome!

  10. Tracy
