Are high end jeans usually excluded from these types of promos?

    • M

      Yes.

I’m in the market for men’s snowboard pants. Have you guys seen them at Macy’s? Do you have any suggestions? Looking for a deal. Doesn’t have to be top quality. Thanks!

My husband got his at Burlington Coat factory. Price was not too bad.

    • tres

Burlington Coat Factory has name brand(oneill, helly hensen, & quicksilver) snow pants for 50-65% off retail prices but you have to hunt for them. I bought some in early December and saved about 65% off retail. plus I used a gift card I bought from Gift card zen $200 GC (bought for $143.50). Other than that look http://www.theclymb.com for some great deals and sport chalet has some on sale this week.

Those coupon always exclude Everyday value price, special, deal of the day etc. So what else that is on sale or clearance we can use?? I got some $10coupon for buying the jeans, but when I tried to used them, they always not working. please help!

Seems like every time I go to Macy’s with this type of coupon, It does not work on anything. There are so many exclusions that I end up wasting time looking for something that it works on rather than what I came for or really wanted. Oh well, good luck if you can get them to work…

It lists “apparel & accessories” in the exclusions which seems really odd to me. Am I just reading this out of context? So if I wanted to buy a children’s jacket that is not an Everyday value or special or super buy, does it mean the coupon won’t work? These coupons always confuse me.

    • MacyCouponsWorthless

John, the coupons are MEANT to confuse you. They are meant to get you into the store. (See my reply to “M” below.)

If you’re into kitchen stuffs like me, check the store’s clearances because you might be lucky to find something useful. Also, price check the item as it might be discounted.

I had the chance to use this coupon last Dec. 26, and scored a very good deal on Martha Stewart Collection: Harvest figural pumpkin soup tureen with ladle (50% off plus additional 50% off on clearance) = $22.50 from $92, huge Turkey platter (50% off plus additional 50% off on clearance) = $8.50 from $44, citrus reamer = $7.99 from $12.99, measuring cup (set of 4) = $8.xx from $9.99, spoon rest (50% off plus additional 50% off on clearance) = $2.99 from $11.99 My total was $50.xx, and after the coupon, I paid $35.xx, tax included.

They told me “anything w a plug” was excluded.

      • MacyCouponsWorthess

M, you are exactly right. My daughter works upstairs at Macy’s in the housewares (etc) department for the last few years. I feel so bad for her. There will be LONG lines of customers waiting to check out their appliance and use the useless coupons. They are frustrated by the time they reach the counter, and they take it out on her when the “vague” coupon does not work on ANY electric-powered item. I asked her if they couldn’t put up a big sign so that customers would know the coupon won’t work BEFORE they stand in line so long. She told me that it is a BIG NO-NO and that she’d probably lose her job. She hates holidays and WOW passes. Thank goodness she’s only got one more year at Macy’s before she graduates from college. 🙂

      • Anntots

I guess it excludes all electric (plugged) items, i haven’t tried it though. Mostly, I only look at clearances like kitchen ware, cookware, bakeware, etc. I tried christmas clearances, and it didn’t work. It doesn’t even work on clothing, socks, underware, shoes, etc., so it takes a lot of patience to look for something that works with this coupon.
