Keep in mind that each store also donated all their tips to a local charity today. The idea is that you get a free cup of coffee or tea, but should tip because it goes to a good cause. I used to work at Peets and we (employees) got to pick which charity we wanted our tips to be donated to. I remember donating to the SPCA one year and the local hospice care the next.
