This is a great price. I have a mandolin. I love it’s sound. I wish I could find free lessons. I’ve found some online, but they only offer a couple lessons. Anything beyond that you have to pay for. Ideas?
I was considering ordering this for my husband but this is my concern as well. Do you have a background in guitars? He does but not sure if that gives you a leg up or not?
It’s tuned like a violin, not a guitar. So no easy map over for chording and picking. BUT, it won’t be too hard of a stretch.

Find a jam session near you. Lots of people learning and seasoned. They will be glad to help if you show a true interest and are willing to commit to practice. Use the free lessons on line they are beneficial too.
