This would be nice to have if you have a stray cat around to help him stay warm in the winter. Place it in your garage with the garage door cracked a little.

I’m debating on grabbing this for one of my cats who sits in front of heaters/vents in the house cause she loves the warmth but I’m afraid its one of those things that will never be used and just sits there like so many other things I’ve gotten for my feline friends, lol
Chelsea, I don’t have an indoor cat but I do have outdoor cats who will LOVE LOVE LOVE the warmth of these. However, I do have indoor dogs and with my dogs (I have three), we have five dog beds/mats around the house and they all get used at some time during the day! I’m only certain that dogs love warm beds but I don’t know enough about cats to say. Don’t they sleep in beds or are indoor cats really finicky?
I have 3 cats and they are all indoor. Ive had beds before and none of them really slept in them often enough, they usually sleep on couches or chairs.. but I think Ive decided on giving this a try, its decently priced so I’ll give it a go!
I’m with you, for the price, I will try them out. Since I’m using them in a screened covered patio on a raised surface for my two outdoor (stray) cats, I’m CERTAIN that they will be loved. I do live in South Florida, but it does still get cold here. I hope it works out for your cat. You might just find that you have to purchase one or two more if your kitties like them! Yes like when we went from 92 with humidity to 49 with the windchill yesterday . I wouldn’t be surprised if the dogs were fighting the cats for the bed in this case. We have such bizarre yo-yo weather! 🙂
I have a former stray turned barn cat who sleeps down in the feed room. I put this out there inside of her regular cave bed and she’s become fat and lazy haha. I’ll go out in the morning to feed the horses and her and she just pokes her head out to see who it is and goes back to sleep. She fancies herself to be quite the little princess these days!

If you’ve had a hard time getting your cats to use beds or new things a good tip I learned is that with items in the house for cats to use, especially new items, put something with your scent on it, like an old t-shirt or old socks, old towel/blanket/fabric scrap, etc. The smell will make the item a bit more attractive & comfortable, since new items tend to smell foreign and they might not be comfortable using them because of that. Also make a point to interact with the item a bit around the cat, make it seem interesting. 😉 Hope that helps!
