Any feedback on this product? I need to purchase some virus software and this looks like a good deal…
I’m not sure about this exact product but I know before I cut cable Comcast Internet customers got Norton for free and it worked great. I never had a problem with viruses or anything.
Be careful when purchasing this software as a download. It’s actually better to buy it as a stand alone disc and NOT provide a credit card. If not, you will probably be signed up for an auto-renewal and then when you click the links to “cancel at any time” it will always tell you “this request cannot be processed at this time” (I got that message every day for about two months.) So then I wrote to my State’s Attorney General’s office and they mailed a letter on my behalf to Norton. I got a courtesy copy of their prompt reply to the AG’s office after that. In the letter they cancelled my subscription and gave me another year free for my trouble and then assured them that my subscription has been cancelled. This was years ago, maybe they are better now.
Sorry to hear that Tammy. 🙁 Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
When that happened to me I called and they refunded immediately.
Reviews look very good. I’m going to jump because this looks to be an awesome deal. It has to be better than the free protection I’m getting now from AVG, which is good but slows my computer down a lot when it scans.
My IT guy at our firm says that for the normal user, Avast or AVG (both are free) are good enough, along with running Malware Bytes once a week. Kapersky is the best but it’s also expensive. It keeps up with all the new viruses, top of the line.
Thanks so much for your feedback Tammy!
Thanks Tammy! Good info
I have had just as good experience with the free ones. In fact I don’t think I got viruses with the free ones unlike Norton . Yes some years ago I did get a virus using norton. To be honest I only pretty much visit sites I know are safe on the computer and I use the iPhone to check out what I’m unsure of on and never download anything unless your 100 percent sure !
thank you for this as my Norton Virus is expiring in 5 days. Perfect timing at a great price.
You’re welcome Nancy!
I don’t have a clue as to why but when I went to check out there was a $10.00 Norton credit for my purchase making this digital download $10.81. Might be worth checking out. Super great timing!
Great score! I do not see that offer as I head to checkout.
