I received one of these to try out for free not too long ago that looks identical to this one. It didn’t work that great and the price is inflated. I would make sure to read reviews before buying. Most of them probably say they received the product for free in exchange for their honest feedback. Needless to say, I didn’t leave a great review for this! There’s a lot of products like this on Amazon that you have to be careful to see if the majority of positive reviews are from free product testers or people who paid full price for the item. This French press didn’t work with regular ground coffee. It left lots of granules. It might be fine if you grind the beans yourself.
Hey Abby if you don’t mind sharing how do you get to try products like these for free??
There are several websites out there like snagshout, elite deal club, and dollar deal reviews (which is where I got this French press). There are lots of websites if you google “test Amazon products for free” but these are three I’ve used that are legit π
Thank you for the infoπ
Oh bummer π Thanks for sharing your experience!
Abby: I agree this may not be that great of a product (has anyone ever heard of this brand?); however, for future reference with any other French press you may try, you need to have your coffee ground “coarse.” (It won’t work well with the regular ground coffee you buy at the grocery store because it is too “fine.”) hth π
