I don’t have this model but I did recently buy a French press and I LOVE it! It makes the BEST coffee! βοΈπ
YUM! Thanks for sharing! π
Haven’t used this one in particular but I use a simple French press and it makes the best tasting coffee. Better than with any other super fancy coffee makers I’ve used in the past
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback Kat! Glad to hear you enjoy yours!
Agreed French press coffee is the way to go! I also have a tea kettle (I like a glass one since some metal ones rust over time) that I heat water up in to pour over the grounds. It’s much easier than having a saucepan of boiling hot water you are trying to pour into the French press. I don’t have this press but I’ve had several and never had a bad cup of coffee from one.
Thanks for the helpful review Michelle!
Recommend the Bonavita electric kettle for heating water to 200 F which supposedly is the temp to brew coffee for use with a french press. Agree you won’t get a better tasting cup of coffee than brewing with a french press. No worries of breaking a glass beaker with a double walled stainless steel one. Happened once too often before I went stainless steel and also minimizes heat loss while brewing that you don’t get with glass french presses.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience! Good to know!
I got a glass French press for Christmas… It got dropped and shattered within 24 hours of receiving it! D: So I replaced it with one similar to this to avoid that happening again! I’ve been happy with it so far.
Sorry to hear your first one broke! But super glad you are happy with the new one!
Love my french press! And it’s just a cheapo clearance one from Target! I’m seriously considering this one though, since it’s insulated. Hmmm….. π
May I ask someone who own this, is this made in China? Thanks.
thank you collin and hip2save crew, just ordered this.I have a glass french press and love it is big enough for 4 cups. Thanks for all you do.
You’re welcome Patricia!
