Also I’ve signed up for troopID and the email me weekly deals. Last week My husband and I were at Home Depot and they said we could sign up for a ProCard (just a discount card not a credit card) and they gave us 10% off the paint we were purchasing plus we got to use our military discount. I think it only works on paint or different deals throughout the year but I was so grateful!
Thanks for this post! My daughter graduated from USMC bootcamp last week and I’ve been telling her that she needs to ask everywhere! She saved us $15 on dinner tonight!
Don’t forget to check out USAA for insurance and discounts on travel and shopping. Also AARP has a great list of discounts. I’m in the caregiver program since my husband was injured during wartime and we get an awesome caregivers resource book that has tons of resources not just discounts but good charities. If anyone has any questions about disabled veterans, applying for benefits or basic info I’d be happy to help just email me at mrsfelix1004@gmail.com
Thanks
Jessica

If you or your spouse is active or retired military or reserves I recommend looking into joining USAA. Their insurance is usually cheaper than others on the market AND just by having once policy at one time in your life you are enabling you children to be able to have a policy with lower rates in the future. 😉
I wish I had known about Project Evergreen when my husband was deployed. I could have really used it. Our lawnmower had broken and we couldn’t afford a new one. One of my neighbors ended up complaining to the city about my grass. My dad was finally able to come over and cut my grass before I got fined by the city.
