Good job there is also 2.97 eye shadows in the cover girl department that the coupons work with also. That would be a 5.00 gift card complete free 🙂
The only thing that qualifies for the gift card at my store was mascara. Too bad because I went prepared to get the pencils and foundation.
really? Maybe ask because there was only a couple of signs posted one above the lip stick and one above the powder but all cover girl makeup qualified
I went earlier and it’s 30 minutes away so I’ll just miss this stellar deal if there were other items included. But my store is really good about putting up their signs and only items signed qualify.
A little tip- scan the items at the price checker and on the right hand side a note should appear if they are part of a special promotion or GC offer.
The only thing that shows up on the price checkers at my store is if there’s a special promo if somethings on sale (like B2G1 or something like that), not if the item is part of a GC offer.
So kind of you to post! Thank you!! Sometimes I pass on deals because I’m always worried about holding up the line and having to argue with the cashier and then having to put items back if they don’t work. This alleviates some of my fears. 🙂
I also use my Target app to scan items to see if they qualify…usually if they qualify ordering online then they qualify in store. I’ve found it’s very rare when the store doesn’t offer the same deal.

How do you get your store to accept printable coupons from coupons.com? Do they scan? They do not scan at my stores and they will not accept them if they don’t scan. This eliminates all these deals for me!
My son and his girlfriend sent and did a deal and they said they went through the self checkout and it worked perfectly:)
I will be doing that next time! ( They had coupons and a received a free gift card)
I have tried that and their system does not recognize them when scanned at self check or by a cashier. I’m glad it worked for you!

I see your coupon printed color also. Is there anyway to turn co? or off before printing these coupons? It doesn’t give me that option ever when I print from coupons.com
It’s something you have to change in your printer settings. You just have to remember to turn color back on if you want to print something else not in black and white. 🙂

My target didn’t accept the $5 off 2 tresseme shamp/conditions. 😢
The Covergirl deal didn’t work for me. They lowered the value of my coupon. So in the end the gift card wasn’t a moneymaker because I would have had to paid about $5.30 upfront before getting the gift card. Does anyone have any advice? Still, paying .30 for everything wouldn’t be too bad.

Now if u scan cartwheel at the time of purchase (even without any offers) will give you points. I updated cartwheel yesterday after an year or so.. It gave me gift options n i can pick one. Gifts included item from target cafe, item upto value $5 from bulls eye, then others i dont remember.
That’s only if you have Target Red Perks, which is only available in certain areas. Not everyone gets it.

Anyone know if you scan coupons, cartwheel and mobile coupons at the self checkout kiosks?
At mine you can. Before you hit pay, you scan any paper coupons and there’s a handheld scanner to scan CW / mobile offers. Also if you buy items part of a GC offer, there are cards in a slot by the scanner that you can activate with the handheld scanner as well!!

I went to Target yesterday and I forgot to have the cashier scan my Cartwheel. I went to customer service and the man said I had to calculate all of the discounts myself. He handed me a pen and paper. I thought he was joking but I realized he was totally serious. I went ahead and did my own math, probably a little slower than I should have because it’s been a while since I’ve done that. Has anyone else had this experience?? Just wondering if this is normal?
I’ve never had that happen but it’s crazy. In the past the person did the math for me. But I am at a new store now and last week the guy said he had to return my item and then recharge me to give me the deal! :0 so I had an extra $20 out of my account waiting for the return to go through. It’s annoying. They make up their own rules.

Um…that’s not right. It’s unprofessional, and I would talk to the manager about that one.
Next time, have them return the items and rebuy them with the cartwheel–so much easier. Last week one of my cartwheels didn’t come off because I had somehow accidentally unselected it, so I went to customer service, and the lady was trying to figure out my discount with a calculator–at least she didn’t suggest that I do it myself, even though I could have told her how much it should have been much faster. Eventually, she realized what I was saying about returning and rebuying the items being much faster and easier.
Yeah, you’re right, that probably would have been much faster! All of those little %5 off discounts…I really wanted to round them up a penny to make it easier to calculate but I felt bad doing that so I didn’t.
On the gift card coupons, It seems the coupon number from the App is the same as from doing the Text. Is that correct? I thought previously they had been different so that I could use both of them. But if they are the same #, I’m assuming I can’t do 2 deals. I have the newspaper add but I had wanted to do the beauty thing 3 times. Maybe they’ll have the ad in the store to let me get it.
you can use the app/text coupon offer multiple times. Its a generic code for everyone.

That is correct! One Target coupon, one manufacturer coupon and one cartwheel offer per item. Hope this helps!

My Target in Elkhart, IN wouldn’t allow me to do the razor deal. The head clerk insisted that Target has a nation-wide rule that the after-coupon total has to be over required amount ($15 for this deal). He says they recently had meetings to stop couponers from trying to get too much off this way. Boo!
