Are you new to CVS deal shopping?
Be sure to head on over here to check out our CVS Store Guide. Also, if the coupon jargon below starts to confuse you, take some time to read through the Coupon Newbie section.
I’m not so familiar with the EB at CVS. Is there any limit to how many you can earn or spend in one transaction? When you spend the earned bucks are there exceptions what they can be used on?
If it says limit 1 you can only one. If it says limit 2 you will earn two. (Suppose you are buying something which will give you 2 Ecb , If limit is 2 you will get $4 instead of two $2) you can also buy them separately and use the first Ecb in second transaction.
If different products are giving Ecb you can buy them all in one Transaction or you can buy half things in one and use the previous Ecb in next traction.
You can use these Ecb like a money. But few thing you can’t buy from Ecb like gift card, etc
The limit is stated next to the item. It looks like a limit of one on each of these deals. But they are pretty easy to use and can be used on anything and there is no coupon to item ratio with these. When they do offer more than one EB on an item you can do as many as they offer in one transaction. No exceptions on what you can use them (except maybe the usual like alcohol and tobacco). Hope that helps you a little.
If I buy the mascara for for example for $9 and get $9 back in EB. Can I make another transaction after, (let’s say for the $5 leggings) and still earn EB when I use EB to pay?
Sorry, new to CVS lol.
Yes, but be sure to spend as,much as or more than the original ECB amount. For example you earn $9 on mascara and then buy $5 leggings, and 2 candies $4 you use your $9 to pay and get $9 back.
Thank you both for the info. 🙂
Yes! You can do that! 🙂
Thanks! Sorry I should have been more clear. Say I bought the chocolate bar, gummies and mascara I can earn .77+2.00+9.00 for 11.77 all at once, correct?
Yes! 🙂
unfortunately my CVS really has anything that on “free” sale :_(
Why not? Its the nation wide Black Friday ad.
Mine always has the rainchecks ready – you just have to ask
I will definitelyget the toothpaste and donate it with other things for my local food bank.
Great idea Susan!
I was also planning to donate the personal care items. My daughter’s Girl Scout troop is collecting stuff for the homeless shelter.
I used a rainck the other day- schick deal from 2wks ago? The cashier said cvs is no longer giving the extra bucks on raincks- she said its in the new coupon policy. I have never heard of this…
I don’t see anything like that in their coupon policy below, do you?

Is this Black Friday sales going on right now, or do I have to wait until Black Friday to get these deals?
This starts ON Thanksgiving (Thursday). You will have to check what time your store opens but usually between 7am and 9am.
I’ve got 24 CVS where I live and I’ve gone before at like 4am and the deals were available.
I am new to Black Friday shopping and quite honestly, it scares me a bit! They always show so many videos on the news about the crowds and masses. Are there any experienced Black Friday CVS shoppers around to tell me how busy this particular store is on Thanksgiving day? Or any advice to calm my nerves?!
It’s been a few years since I’ve gone to CVS on Thanksgiving but back then it wasn’t any more crowded than other day. I encountered a few tourists stopping in because it was open and a couple other ladies toting coupon binders but I think all the diehards are at the big box stores.
I took my sister’s and we did a scavenger hunt. It was fun, thank you for what you do.
