I’m a beginner and trying to learn how to sew. I made some shorts for my toddler and is trying to see some leggings for my toddler and baby but when I went to Joann they don’t have stretch/knit fabrics? Isn’t that weird? I even asked an associate and she said they don’t have it. So my question is any h2s fellows know where I can find pretty good quality/ decent priced knit fabrics to make babies and toddler leggings? Or even for myself 🙂 I would really appreciate it!! TIA
That is very strange. We have a Joann that is small and even we have knit fabric. I like to shop at fabric.com, Hawthorne fabrics, and Fabricworm (though they can be pricey). You could check Hobby Lobby. I like to take old clothes and reuse them. Maybe some of your old knit shirts would work, or pick some up second-hand.
Thank you 🙂 I’ll prob try again and ask a different associate… maybe the person is new or doesn’t really know fabric.. I still can’t get over that they don’t carry knit fabrics!!
Just a friendly reminder that Micheals accepts competitor coupons. For example there’s a 50% off one regular priced item coupon at Joann which Micheals will accept!
