Shower Your Kids with 14 Days of Valentine’s Love
Looking for a cute and easy way to shower your kiddos with love this Valentine’s Day? I like to make sure that my kids are part of our Valentine’s Day celebration, and this is a fun and easy way to do just that… “Twelve Days of Christmas” style!
This fun idea was inspired by this post from Skip to my Lou!
It’s as simple as this!
Beginning February 1st, stick a paper heart on your child’s bedroom door each day with a reason that you love and appreciate them or why they just ROCK. They’re sure to feel extra special each morning!

Very cute idea! Thanks.
yeah, I did this to my brother and sisters room and they loved it!
We do this to friends and family. We make a whole bunch of hearts with reasons why we love them, tape them all over their front door, Ring the doorbell, and run. My kids call it a Heart Attack.
That is so adorable!!
I picked up small mail boxes at dollar tree. They even have little flags to raise. I am going leave my kids “mail” each day and sometimes add a little treats. Now I think I will write all the letters on heart shapes and ask them to hang them on their door.
That’s a really cute idea!
Love love love this idea! ❤️
Why would it be 12 rather than 14 if you’re doing one each day from the 1st until the 14th?
I was wondering the same thing.
Ditto. 🙂
Yes, I’m wondering too!
I did this several years ago for our kids & they loved it! Heart shaped post-it notes were a big time saver with 4 kids.
yeah, I did this to my brother and sisters room and they loved it!
I was thinking of that too, wouldnt be better to do the 2 More days yo finish on valentines day
You guys… Me and my 5 kids have been home sick all week, and I think my brain is fried. LOL! You’re totally right, there should be 14. OOPS!
No need to apologize. We’ve all been in your shoes before. Hope you and your kids are feeling better!
Thanks so much, Viv! We’re all on the mend. 🙂
I love this idea, thank you for sharing!
There used to be a teacher at my kids’ middle school. Every Valentines Day he would tape hand written hearts that said, “you are loved” on each child’s locker. Like almost 800 kids.
Sounds like an awesome teacher!!
Where can you buy heart-shaped post-it notes?
I did this for my then 5 yr old last year and he LOVED it! Had the hearts up till Dec! He was telling my 1yr old how he will get hearts this year too! Precut hearts help with time!
