15 Unique & Fun DIY Chore Charts
Most days it seems like my kids know what their household responsibilities are, but they have the attention span of a goldfish, so they get sidetracked after just a couple of tasks.
I’ve bought chore charts at the store before, but they don’t always align with our family’s tasks, so I decided DIY is the way to go. It’s so nice to be able to customize these fun chore charts, and give them a visual of what needs done! I like to add a few easy peasy tasks (like, “Say I love you to someone!”), to give some encouragement on getting things checked off.
Here are a few of the cutest DIY chore charts floating around the web…
1. Hot Wheels Chore Chart

Check out this printable list of age-appropriate chores HERE.
These are great ideas! Thanks so much for posting this.
Sooo needed this! Although #4 is kinda pricey for my pocket book. We have three kids with three different personalities and I think it would be cool to make a different chart for each kid.
That’s what I thought! Thankfully my kids don’t read the blog or we’d have a coup for our quarter jobs.
Thanks for this post… About to implement chores based on commission. We currently do family chores, but are going to add for earning money. This is helpful.
Hmmm. I don’t see ages 30+ listed on here. What are age-appropriate chores for my husband? And what’s the best chart to get him to do more housework?
😂😂😂
Read the book Five Love Languages…me and my husband did this and mine is acts of service like cleaning house helps fill my love tank and it gave him a better understanding of what makes me feel special.
It was just a joke… my marriage is good, thanks…
It is a great book wether your marriage is good or bad. They make one for kids too. Didn’t mean to imply your marriage is bad.
LOVE these books! 😊
Thanks for the idea. I’m going to see if my library carries this book! 🙂
Sounds like a good read for any marriage 🙂
This is a great for every marriage! Definitely worth the read!
I have a 50+ aged myself and am curious about that too!! I’ve simply given into the fact he’s just too old to change…
My husband asked for the audio book for vday! Family Christian has it for 5$ on a vday special right now😍 I already ordered it earlier this week!
Super awesome ideas! I love these & cant wait to try a few of these ideas for my kiddos. Thank you 😊
HEY! I don’t have kids, so I thought these ideas would not apply to me……but I just realized that I have two nephews that like to visit, and I could offer jobs to them, if they’d like to earn a little money. I have a disability so this could be so helpful……….because they would be paid, I won’t feel like I’m making them do too much when they visit.
There is a great app available called Chore Monster. It’s free and customizable and the kids love it (there is some potty humor!).
