DIY Easter Egg Wreath
If you’re looking for a cute and unique homemade decoration this Easter, consider making this simple DIY Easter Egg Wreath using mostly dollar store items! It was a fun and easy craft to make and looks great on my front door.
Easter Egg Wreath
Supplies Needed for this Craft:
- 12 inch Styrofoam Wreath Form
- Plastic Easter Eggs (I used about 50)
- Faux Onion Grass (Grass pictured is from Dollar Tree)
- Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- Ribbon for Hanging Wreath
Directions:
1.) Glue eggs in a row along the top of wreath, alternating colors.
2.) Glue another row towards the middle of wreath, and a 3rd row towards the outer edge of wreath.
3.) Use scissors to cut small groups of grass and glue between eggs to fill in the bare spots. (For a more uniform appearance, I glued grass going all in the same direction.)
4.) Glue Ribbon to back for hanging.
Note: If you didn’t want to use this style of faux grass you could alternatively use the type of grass typically used for gift baskets or Easter baskets.

Great! Have fun!
My kiddos will love this craft… I will be in charge of the glue gun of course 😅
Awesome! My daughter enjoyed helping me by handing me the eggs as I glued on and what color we should use next. Fun
I love this!! Thank you Lina
Sure! Thanks for reading Marcy. 😀
This one is not my style but I’m absolutely in love with your DIY posts and wished there would be more. You are so creative and the fact that you are using such inexpensive supplies is great. Keep up the amazing work! It is much appreciated.
Thanks so much for your kind words! I appreciate it. 😀
What was the actual cost of this?
It just depends on where you buy supplies. Spent maybe 10-15$ – Thanks
I’m not into the colors–I think pastel eggs would look better, and I’m trying to think of something besides that fake grass to put with it! But thank you for the idea!
I did the decopage eggs, using magazines, pictures, and real grass my teens, and grown kids loved to pull out of spots that needed pruning!
Sure! It’s fun to make it your own style 👍🏻
