I am a Japanese and this is the only brand my family (They are Americans) and I drink when it comes to green tea. Ito En is a very well known tea company and their tea is very poplar you see them every grocery store and convenience store (along with regular one; oi ocha green tea).
Just to clarify, this bold green tea is stronger than regular oi ocha green tea. For an example It’s like espresso compared to light roasted brewed coffee, if that makes sense.
I like dark roast coffee and strong tea, so bold green tea is my to go, but my husband who is light roast coffee drinker he and the kids prefers the original green tea.
I meant to say, “Ito En is a very well known tea company and you see them everywhere…. IN Japan. ” 😉
Our family like it. I’m personally think it’s better when it cold and nothing better than the cold green tea in a hot summer day 😃
We love Ito En green teas. They are real and super refreshing. I started to find their products in more stores but they’re usually $1.50 or so so this one is a great deal.
I tried the regular green tea version of this product and could not drink it. I tried adding lemon and still could not force myself to drink it. At first I thought it was because I tend to like sweeter foods and drinks but I can drink black coffee with no problem. I love Lipton green tea with citrus.
