And I just got back from Walgreens! Oh well… don’t like rite aid anyway (always out of everything!)
Went to 3 local Rite Aids trying to do a deal. Best I could manage at the end was to get 5 boxes, use them for ibotta rebates. The $10 back on $20 runs through the week, so I’ll check again later in week and if they still don’t have them, i’ll get a rain check for the rest (they will make the $10/$20 work, even though it’s a pain for me and for them). Constant problem with both RA and CVS, not sufficient stock of sale items.
If you can’t get the cereal there are several Nabisco snacks that also qualify for the 1000 PP. 2/$6 Nabisco Wheat thins and 2/$6 Fig Newtons. Then submit for $1.20/2 on Checkout 51 for each one. hth

It’s because the 9.2 oz box isn’t a qualifying purchase. And I think what Brooke (comment below) is saying is true – they have to be specially marked boxes with the Despicable Me advertising on the box. I was lucky enough to score 10 boxes at my Rite Aid but was also hoping to get a movie ticket out of the deal. Oh well. It can’t hurt to try tho.

Just as an FYI, I think that the boxes have to have the Despicable Me characters on them… When looking at the KFR site, it shows that the participating boxes have the Despicable Me characters either on the front or the back. I saw them yesterday at Albertsons after doing the Walgreens deal yesterday. I got KFR points and bonus for the Apple Jacks, but no Fandango code thus far, so I think based on the fact that they give you photos under the details pic, they must have to be the ones with the characters on them. Still crossing my fingers, but doubtful… 🙂 Thanks HIP2SAVE for always giving us the deals!!
