  I think she may have had a gift card balance in her account that covered it cause I tried again after she said that and it still didn’t work. She may not have noticed that she had one before?

   You have to click on Redeem under the promotions next to the “Buy 1, get 42% off” to be able to receive the $7.53 price. It just worked for me.
