I will not be buying anything from Amazon while they are gouging people during these disasters happening now.
Upwards of $38 for a case of water!!
I urge everyone to boycott Amazon until they stop these deplorable practices
Most of those are from third party sellers. Amazon generally only sells their water at a good price on Fresh, primenow and prime pantry – all of which are still around $3-4 for 24 packs.
Stop spreading misinformation! Do your research before speaking. Amazon is not the seller on those high priced items 🙄
Regardless of who is selling it Amazon is still allowing it be sold on their site.
It is beyond ridiculous to allow such price gouging.
I have contacted the hot line here in Florida as has everyone I know.
Amazon is making a big mistake with this one
Wow, bless your heart. You clearly don’t understand how online retailers work. If you’re going to report Amazon then you should also report Walmart Marketplace, EBay, and many others. All of these sellers have been allowing 3rd party sellers to sell items on their sites at the prices they choose forever. This has NOTHING to do with hurricane Harvey. It’s as if you are reporting your neighbor for their high prices at their yard sale. If you want to help the victims of hurricane Harvey you should really redirect your efforts.
Haha, what in the world? What “hotline” are you calling? Amazon isn’t even based in Florida. People can sell whatever they want on Amazon. Again, it isn’t related to the hurricane – it’s ALWAYS overpriced, probably because water is expensive to ship. ONCE AGAIN, use their discount options like Pantry, Fresh, or PrimeNow. Just because Amazon sells everything, doesn’t mean everything is going to be at a great deal. As Andrea said, things have been sold by 3rd party retailers at whatever prices forever.
Do what?!? There’s lots of choices to buy water and clearly there’s water even on amazon for less!
They’re selling water at $3-4 per case. Why slam an amazing company just for the sake of being nasty??
This won’t work if you did the pop tart deal.
