It holds 100 kg which equals 220 lbs. That seems ok althought guys can be larger than that weight… is anyone else concerned about that?
Yep- my hubs is pretty tall (6’4″) and weighs 250 lbs. The Ikea Poang we had did not hold up well to his weight. I recognize the chair suggested in the posting is likely by a different manufacture, and I can’t speak to the quality of their products, but I would be a bit hesitant to get one of these for a bigger guy.
The chair at Ikea are so comfortable I honestly don’t think these chairs will even compare to it especially under $20
The poang armchairs from IKEA are one of the most comfortable chairs we’ve owned. We have a leather one we bought over 18 years ago & it’s still going strong. It’s in my hubbys office & guest room & everyone that visits likes to sit in it too.

Loooove my IKEA one. It was so comfortable when I was pregnant. These may be good and comfortable.. Maybe for a reading area in a class?
Did anyone receive their chairs? I purchased 2 and they were supposed to arrive on Thursday but didn’t. I checked the tracking information that was sent and it’s now not showing any type of delivery information. I also tried to email the seller and haven’t received a response.
Michelle, I have also not received my chairs. They were supposed to be here Monday and did not arrive and the tracking information has changed to nothing. No activity at all and no estimated delivery date. The company has not responded to me request either.
I have sent a few more messages to the company and have only received the computer generated “we received your message” type of message. I had second thoughts about purchasing because I was just recently scammed over the Fingerling Monkeys and now this. Ugh. So much for trying to save money this Christmas, it seems like my efforts are going down the drain.
I just got issued a refund. No other emails telling why or what happened, just that the seller refunded me.
This morning they send a detailed email.

We have checked the UPS information, it shows nothing, so we have checked with our warehouse, who told us that these days our wahouse happened something bad.
The new man who work for us stole many items from us, so there is many items we can not ship it out.
And now the man escape and also we do not has enough evidence, so we do not has method to get the items back, really sorry.
