I’ve gotten these coupons on Black Friday for years. Generally, any of the “big ticket” things you’d hope to use it on (video game systems, games, etc) are excluded. I use it to stock up on pet food, soda, stuff like that–things I’ll be spending the money on anyway but it’s a chance to get a good deal. Plus, this time of year those kind of items are on sale and I can also use a coupon. I’ve managed to get an entire winter’s worth of pet treats for less than I usually spend in a month by stacking this 20% off with the other deals and coupons available around the holidays! 🙂

In years past: the 20% off cannot be used on gift cards, all apple products, dyson and a few other exclusions (which I think included most video consoles)

I purchased yesterday online and saw this in my email today, but realized I may end up needing to return the item that I got to get the coupon. Will the 20% off coupon still work if the original item has been returned?
I asked that question in store today and the manager said a return would not affect the coupon.
I love this coupon and look forward to it since they started. I purchase groceries, household and personal items and so much more. I hope to see ideas of what the Hip2Save team comes up with when combining coupons!

I went shopping at Target today and I knew I took the 20% off coupon with me but when I was at the checkout I couldn’t find the coupon.
