Oh wow, this magazine is hardly ever on sale! Renewed for 2 years at this price!
This is a great deal! However, it’s $1 per issue not 50 cents as stated above. Still a great deal though…and I will be taking advantage of it 🙂
This mag mails every 2 months, so 6 issues per year.
So that is $12 for 2 years with 6 magazines per year, so 12 magazines for $12, that is $1 a piece? Please help
Yes, $12 for 2 years, 6 issues per year. A great deal!

Question, does this magazine have vegetarian recipes? Thank you for your answer.
It is more of a cooking techniques magazine as I remember. They experiment in their test kitchens to, for example, create the best pie crust, etc. I would imagine they include vegetarian recipes from time to time.
There are some vegetarian recipes, but not many in terms of main dishes. It is more of a techniques type magazine. They will take something like “clam chowder” and experiment to come up with the best way to cook it in a home kitchen & why. They also evaluate different types of cookie equipment (like the best cookie sheet, as an example) to rate the different types out there, what worked, and what didn’t. There is a mixture of different types of recipes (soup, entrée, pasta, dessert, etc.) but the entrees are definitely geared toward meat. And depending on whether you’re vegan, if something works best with butter or cream etc., that is what they’re going to recommend.
Amazing deal!!!
They wanted to charge me $25 a year and no matter how many times I entered your discount code, the price was the same.
Duh. I forgot to hit the APPLY button.
Thanks a bunch! We love this magazine.
I did the same thing first time around. Didn’t hit apply. Doh!
Ordered two years…THANKS for the heads up. I buy this occasionally at Costco, but it is so expensive.
I kept doing the same thing…. until I read your post! LOL
Thanks – this is a great magazine. Will share it with my parents.
You’re welcome!
Yay! I had sworn off magazines because I just don’t take the time to read them anymore. But this is my dream magazine!!! I got 2 years and locked in the price for the future! I’ve never seen it at this price before.
Love this magazine! I always am interested to see what they tried, what worked best and why. Thanks for the heads-up! This magazine was booted out of the budget a few years ago and I’m excited to be getting it again! 🙂

Thank you . I love cooking magazines and I am excited to get this one. I also got Rachael Ray for $6.00.
does it auto-renew at the expensive price?
It says it will renew at the discounted price – if available at that time. I don’t think I’ll take the chance, I’m sure this price won’t be available when it’s renewed.
Oh, just finished reading the terms. May be I will auto renew. It says “With DiscountLock, we’ll never automatically renew your subscription at a price higher than you paid. If the price you paid is not available, we will take no renewal action and notify you.”
