I’ve read that this is a discontinued headset that won’t work with future games. Does anyone know more info on this before purchasing?
I don’t believe that is true at all. The only difference is the HDR passthrough which may be a issue on 4K TVs. The new model also has smaller cables and built in ear buds but for the price difference I Pete for this model. I originally purchased the new Skyrim bundle for 349.99 but this is a better deal even buying the motion controllers that are on sale right now at Best Buy for $79.99.
It may be discontinued in the future, but will still work with future games. The newer headset has built-in earphones and some other features, but not a deal breaker. A darn good deal for basically $160
