I love you Hip2Save, but I notice that lately the post you all put in the page are always sold out or unavailable and that make me think that is only a few left and other people like friends or relatives get the offers before us in the site. Whaaat? Of course the offer(s) may not be available for everyone. Sale/clearance Legos are a hot commodity. How in the world would the H2S team be able to verify that every deal would be available to every person at every store?! Goodness. FWIW I think H2S is one of the most upstanding and honest coupon blogs out there. Many others are a bit slimy or misleading. Not the case here IMO!
I agree that it is unwarranted. Thousands and thousands of people visit this site, who’s to say you weren’t just too slow? Along with that there are numerous other sites just like this telling people what’s a good deal at the moment sp their visitors are buying too. And how would they be able to tell if it is available in your area or not? Most of the listed deals are valid nationwide and they could never sit and check every zip code to see if it may or may not be sold out around you.
Side note, I got one so thank you! My son is a lego addict!
I can understand your frustration Mama but I highly doubt H2S would hurry and buy up all the good sales. They make a commission off people buying from this site, why in the world would they post something knowing it was out f stock? That would defeat the purpose, and how would they ever make money if everything they posted was out of stock, other than the commission they make from us clicking on an item which I’m sure is a fraction of the commission they would make if someone clicked and purchased the item. The H2S team works hard to save us money and they work hard to earn their commission money, I just don’t think they would post things for the pleasure of it, they have employees to pay etc, etc. BTW – I got one and it’s still available for shipping! Thank you!! 🙂
