How fun! 🙂
Awesome! TY!
You’re welcome!
The linked site says the Lego set it only the 16th, and only 11-2 … is there somewhere else that says it’s longer?
Thanks for the heads up! Just updated!
Just went to Target. The Legos were only free if you built it in store. Didn’t take long, but just FYI
Just went and our Target was giving away the stickers but charging $4.99 for the Legos! Bummer. Hopefully other stores are better.
Went to our store – no demo, no building area, no free sets, just sticker sheets. I even looked online, and that store was listed as a participating location
They were only giving stickers out not Lego sets at our store!
Only stickers at Albuquerque uptown location. Major disappointment.
Yep, only sticker sheets and trying out holding a lightsaber. No Lego build at our Target either, bummer. Kids were super disappointed.
I am in SE Grand Rapids area. Our display was set up between toys and electronics at the end of the Star Wars toy aisle. Right at 11:00 they put out stickers stacks and the LEGO toy. It is a 20-piece gray Millennium Falcon that I had to build in store to get.
The store workers didn’t want to give us the Legos! It’s like they wanted to keep them for themselves!
We did the photo and got stickers, and that (friendly) worker said the Lego build event was “somewhere over there” and we looked around for a bit, venturing by the Star Wars clothing area, and I saw a box of sample items turned around by the movies/tech area when we were heading back to the photo area, and asked about the free Lego Millennium Falcon that’d be about as big as a quarter. They tried to steer us to the expensive kits, but slowly scrambled when I said again that we were looking for the small free one, and after quite a few minutes, the guy walked to the backwards display and give my kids a kit, which we made in the cafe area since movies/tech wasn’t welcoming.
we went this morning they did not have the lego sets :-/ even though that target was listed, they only had the stickers… no worth braving target on Saturday just before Christmas !
They didn’t have the Lego mini set at the Target by our house. Just stickers, we were very disappointed.
Oh, wow. How sad to see all the randomness by the various Target locations. I had actually forgotten about this, but I would be upset & disappointed if my local Target was listed as a participating location & they didn’t give out the mini Lego builds. If in fact, the employees were keeping the builds for themselves, that would be so sad. Hopefully, that wasn’t the case, but I’d still be super upset by the contradicting information if I drove out to the store. On a similar note, Toys R Us has always been amazing with their Lego builds. We got a mini BB-8 last month & a huge sticker sheet!
Yeah our store had the Lego sets but wanted to charge us 4.99 for it, even if we built it in store. I talked to the manager and they said the only instructions were to give out sticker sheets and that they pulled the legos from their shelves (they weren’t given any as part of the promo). Disappointed kiddos and bad marketing in targets end!
Looks like I wasn’t the only person who had trouble getting a Lego set. I had to go to two different stores. The first store only had the sticker sheets (they apparently never got the sets to hand out and ended up setting up station to let kids play with a Star Wars set taken off the shelf). Thankfully, the store manager was kind enough to call a nearby Target on my behalf to ensure they had sets to give out. The second store was giving out Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle (Set # 30279) and the First Order Heavy Assault Walker (Set # 30497), along with two sets from the Lego Batman movie. I grabbed the First Order Heavy Assault Walker, though I wish I could have gotten both!
Oops, I gave the wrong set number for the Kylo Ren set. They were actually giving out Kylo Ren’s Shuttle (Set # 30380).
