I’m so proud of myself this year! I actually only bought what I needed/really wanted! Last year I was buying items just because they were 90% and they are still sitting in my basement 😂 I got a tree skirt, two boxes of glass ornaments, table cloth, table runner, and a garland today (didn’t have a price tag so they gave it to me for $3!!!) Now all I need to find is a nice wreath so I may go check another Target tonight.

I picked up a new artificial Christmas tree for 70% off. Also stocked up on some candy and Christmas ribbon. I find that Target carries Christmas wrapping paper roles that can be used year round (red with polka dots) so I always stock up when it is marked down.

Went to my Hobby Looby on Wednesday morning and there was nothing -NOTHING- left in the store. Not even bows or bags or the isusal “leftovers”. Every row was completely bare. I was so bummed.
That sucks. I hope to find something for a gift next year.
Well, I was glad I went to Target tonight. I got several of the lip care products that are well needed during the winter! I also got 3 of the key chains shown above (but one was a fox one) and I got myself a beanie that was $15 for under $5.00. Was happy with my finds.
Didn’t think it would be 70% today, we just popped in cause we were bored! Got some wrap and tags I needed and a few other odds and ends. Found nice size tote bag purses, not Christmas at all, perfect for a towel and swimsuit or a diaper bag even. $2.10 a piece!

Does Any one have an idea how the toy clearance works? I saw 30% some toys on Thursday. Do they mark down toys on a certain day?

I got the Elf on the Shelf Letters to Santa set today for $7.50! I was over the moon! I’m going to save it for next year. Love Christmas clearance!
I haven’t been to target yet but Walmart has some Christmas wrapping paper that isn’t Christmas-y at all. Dinsosaurs, dump trucks, chevron, stars, etc in bright colors. I stocked up for birthdays!

Check makeup type sets too! I was in today and some of the Ecotools/Real Techniques brush sets were ringing 50% off, others were ringing 70%. I stocked up. I think both brands are fantastic budget-friendly brushes. 🙂
Any guess when it goes 90?
6 EOS peppermint lip balms for 89 cents (these are our fave!), DIY card kit with stickers, envies, etc. for my daughter next year (she “makes” her own gifts to give out…draws pictures with stickers and glitter inside for family; she’s 4 & she worked on her “project” for a month) worth full price for entertainment but paid $2, a battery operated “Christmas light shaped” garland for my daughter to decorate her playhouse for $2, some Christmas light timers (finally remembered!) for 1.49, a few other things like washing tape for lunch box notes and the containers I needed to gift next years “2018 pictures”. My store, surprisingly, had a lot of stuff left.
My Target, in Silverthorne CO, was pretty picked over yesterday. We were out of town so I didn’t go earlier and I was surprised by how little was left. But I was able to get some more outdoor Christmas lights which we really needed to replace some old strands. They had tons of wrapping paper which was awesome since the previous 2 years they had none and I really needed some, plus they had lots that wasn’t Christmasy so it could be used other times of the year! I usually stock up on items to put in my kid’s Easter baskets but there wasn’t much left. Not much food either. My tip is to actually bend over and look at the back of the lower shelves, I found the last two boxes of ziplocs that way! And walk the aisles in both directions, different things will catch your eye, it can be so overwhelming!
I totally agree with that tip about checking the back of the lower shelves. One year I found an entire box of the bagged Lego sets for boys- Star Wars and Lego City. They were only $0.34 each and we’re our birthday party favors for two years of parties!

Didn’t check yesterday darn! Still got a couple of things today.. Mainly the motion lights from philips and magnolia cookie cutters and ornament
So excited! I just went to check mine out and got a $20 bill themed monopoly blanket quilt and an operation sleeping bag! Both were about $8 after the 70% off. They were by the Junk Food label and next to the Christmas storage bins so keep a look out. I also found some holiday clipboards and stamps sets for .30!
Ugh! I wish there was a way to tell when a Target makes the final 90 percent markdown! I’m exhausted checking every Target when I pass one! Any help guys? ❤️

FYI, still 70% off today at my local San Antonio Target this morning. Food stuff was 70% off, though.
The Target by my house in South Florida was all marked 70% off but upon double checking with a scanner they turned out to be 90%!!! My suggestion would to just double check everything and don’t give up 😉
My Target was 90% off today. The signs still said 70% off but stuff scanned at 90% off. (at least the non food stuff; I didn’t scan any food items.) There was still a decent selection left at my Target which was very surprising as usually it’s quite picked over by the time it hits 90% off. Got Hearth and Magnolia throw pillows, ornaments, and gift bags, as well as other home decor stuff that were not Christmas themed. A Burt’s Bees gift set was 70% off. I’m planning to check out another Target tomorrow.
Checked 3 Targets in CA today, and they were all doing 90% off. Signs still read 70% for food and candy items but half of the ones I scanned were actually 90% off as well, so literally scan everything you’re interested in.
