Can anyone recommend a really good audio book(s) with a great narrator? A few that I’ve enjoyed in the past are “My Cousin Rachel” (Daphne du Maurier), “Till We have Faces” (C S Lewis), “The Martian” (Andy Weir), and “The American Miracle: Divine Providence in the Rise of the Republic” (Michael Medved). Thanks, Hip2Save, for these notifications of great deals on Audible!
I am really enjoyig “Game of the thrones.” Many people had recommended me to read and I really liked it.
I not sure if you are into fantasy fiction but the book is actually as good as the TV series.
We got “Dark Matter” last time there was a deal. LOVED it!
Not sure if you are into Harry Potter at all, but the audiobooks are AMAZING. They are narrated by Jim Dale and he literally has a different voice for every character. I have no idea how he kept that many characters straight as there are a ton! My 10-yr-old son and I have had them on in a continuous loop for the last year and a half in the car. And if you’ve never read or seen Harry Potter, don’t think it’s just for kids. I just got into it 2 years ago and I’m 44! So many wonderful messages hidden in those pages and it’s so much fun. My son and I have connected so much over it that we even took a trip to Universal in Orlando in December so we could immerse ourselves in the Wizarding World of HP. Try it, it’s amazing!!
Hi Josie, I signed up for Audible last time they had a free membership. Looove it, we usually listen on our Echo. Here are a few we’ve enjoyed.
Murder On The Orient Express, Narrated by Dan Stevens. The Hound Of The Baskervilles, Narrated by Grahame Stevens and at Christmas my favorite was A Christmas Story, Narrated by Dick Cavett. You may want to listen to a sample to see if you might like them first. We also like to listen to Radio Mystery Theatre, it brings us back 😉 Hope these Help:)
I got it from the library, so I’m not sure it’s on Audible but Will Wheaton narrates “Ready Player One” really well!
Hi
Thank you for this deal!
I got Caleb Carr’s The Alienist and two Anne Rice’s books, all I had read many years ago. I commute over 2 hours every day and I love that now you can download the books to your cellphone. My commute has terrible cellphone coverage.
