This car seat has amazing reviews! It’s the only car seat you’ll need after the carrier stage. Secure your child in a five-point harness from 20 to 65 pounds, then convert to a belt-positioning booster from 30 to 100 pounds and finally transition into a backless booster seat for your big kiddo!
Other Hip2Save readers love this seat too…
We love this seat. We have one for each car. Used to be for my 7 year old but just transitioned him to a backless booster and handed these down to my almost 4 year old. Both kids love(d) this seat and said it was comfortable, and it has a cup holder and storage for their stuff 😊
We love this seat! I’ve been using it for two years now. Comfortable and easy to move.
We have 2 of these already, and love them. We’ve been wanting to replace another car seat with this one.
I LOVE these!!!! We have one in each car for my 5 year old. I love that there are so many options. It’s very roomy. As they get taller, you just adjust the back which is why I chose this seat. He outgrew his old car seat in height before anything else. The quality is great.
We have one of these in both of our vehicles and one in a grandma’s vehicle too. Love them, easy to move around if needed.
Sweet! Super glad to hear how well liked these have been Julie! Good to know they can be easily moved! I remember having such a hard time with the seats I had for my kiddos when they were little! Thanks for sharing!
I love ours! It’s a great choice!
Yay! Happy you have been so pleased with this seat! Thanks a ton for taking a moment to comment!
Love love love this seat. What an awesome price!
Kept our son safe and unscratched in a car accident where our vehicle was totaled. We replaced that seat and other son’s seat with these again.
Wow, thank you so much for the great feedback. I’m so thankful it kept him safe and sound!
This looks like a great seat for my 5 year old but I definitely encourage you to update your description and remove, “It’s the only car seat you’ll need after the carrier stage.” This isn’t a convertible seat and babies should be rear facing long after they grow out of the infant carrier.
I agree with Anna – pediatrician recommendation is at LEAST 2yrs rear-facing and in some states it is the law to keep your child rear-facing until 2.
Just got two of these for the husbands truck. Found them at our Walmart for $75 if we did in store pickup!
Where did you see the offered discount for customer pickup? I’m not seeing that…
I think it only gives this option if your Walmart store has it in stock for a lower price. I don’t have this option for this seat but I had it the other day on something else.
Wow! What a great deal!
Just ordered mine from Walmart. Can it rear face??
It is not a convertible carseat, so it cannot be used rear facing.
Keep in mind the height limits in addition to weight limits. Some children outgrow the height before they get anywhere close to the weight. We have the nautilus 80 elite and love it. My son looks comfy and secure and likes his car seat. I just wish it had higher height limits in harnesses mode since I prefer that esp for traveling. It has height limit of 52″ in harnesses mode, 57″ in high back. For the model 65 posted above the harnessed height limit is 49″ with high back at 57″
this is a great seat, but choking in to say that it shouldn’t be used to make the switch from an infant carrier. your 1-year-old, 20lb. baby should switch to a rear-facing convertible carseat for as long as possible. here in new jersey, state law dictates to read face until age 2 and 30lbs.
*chiming, not choking. thanks autocorrect
What happens when the expiration date expires and the child is not even in the boostet seat. Wasted money???
I would buy another when it expires. I’ll never say I wasted money for my kid’s safety. If I have to pay $200 for a seat to use a month I will. I’d rather do that than risk it.
Do booster seats have expiration dates? My booster seats don’t have a expiration dates on them like car seats. So couldn’t the booster part still be used? Just curious. Also this is forward facing so your child would be 2ys+ by the time they are 8yrs it still not be expired
All carseats and booster seat have expiration dates. Look on the bottom of the seat, on a sticker on the seat, in your manual or look up the exact seat brand and specific seat name to find out when it expires.
Just a heads up if you plan to use this you need a hammer to get the buckle out of the slot to move to a different slot since it’s impossible to do so with just your own strength. Also in my Dodge van I couldn’t use this as a high back booster because it blocks the seatbelt buckle making it very hard to use. Loved the seat just wish it wasn’t so bulky and easier to use. Had to take ours back.
