What’s Close to FREE? Paying a BUCK at Dollar Tree!
Oh Dollar Tree… How I Love YOU.
I’ve gotta admit walking down the aisles of Dollar Tree is one of my favorite things to do! 💃 I feel like a deal detective scoping out the aisles for buried treasures. 😎 I often find MANY awesome buys since everything at Dollar Tree is priced at $1 OR less!
This week I took a trip to Dollar Tree and thought it would be fun to share TEN of my favorite finds! Keep in mind that Dollar Tree inventory can vary greatly from store to store.
Collin’s Top Ten Dollar Tree Finds…
1.) Bread
I just need to rave about this a bit! Some Dollar Tree locations have an amazing bread selection and it changes every time you go in there. Note that not all Dollar Tree’s carry bread so you may want to call your local store ahead of time to see.
You really can’t beat $1 for name-brand bread! And if it’s close to the expiration date, just throw it in the freezer. I spotted a few different varieties that went straight into my cart! I love stocking up when they have a nice selection.

Can you trust the food from DT for sure. Once my mom had some worm type things in her peanuts so it has made me scared. Is it fresh?
I have a love-hate relationship with the tree Lol!! Everytime I go in for a few items I come out with a whole slew of things π . It’s one of the few stores where I love just throwing anything I like in the cart, knowing one item won’t be $20!! I went this past Monday and spent $43. I love getting seasonal decor every time a holiday rolls around. Also grab sanitizer everytime I go. I’ve found some really cute scarves to add to my collection these past few months and reusable shopping totes. Can’t beat the greeting cards either. I also bought 5 Easter bags to give little gifts out to friends, they were soo cute. And lastly, the phone case I’m currently using is from the dollar tree π
My love/hate relationship is because i go there and the shelves are empty. And the store is a total mess, so depressing anymore. The store used to be so neat and stocked, but no more.
my DT here doesn’t have awesome deals like that
I donβt recommend the reading glasses from DT. The lenses can be wavy. I had to return some I tried from there. The wholesale clubs have great prices on a pack of 4.
Just FYI my mother and I both use Dollar Tree glasses for years with no problems. We love being able to have glasses everywhere, so convenient.
I love the Organic Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes at 2 cans for $1, some of the fancy bar soaps, packets of Tylenol/Advil for my purse, coconut oil cooking spray, frozen fruit for smoothies, boxes of candy for movies, phone charger cords (I’ve given up on the expensive ones because my cat chews them), and my local DT has Sunday paper for $1! I could keep going. Love DT!
I shop weekly at the Dollar Tree, I always make sure I check the dates before purchasing foods, or drug store items. I tend to stock up monthly on Excedrin pills, allergy pills, Imodium pills. Shopping here saves me money-other stores can get pricey on certain items. Its also a good store to shop for gifts. I buy all my wrapping paper at this store, as well as cards, and gift bags.
I know of 1 dollar tree that sells pepperidge farm bread and only 1. They other stores only sell bargain bread with too many preservatives. I like to check the expiration dates and make sure i freeze it when i get home.
