Making sweet potatoes fries is super simple because you just drizzle olive oil and season as desired – no measuring if you don’t want to!
Paprika is key here since it balances the sweetness! SO YUM! Making these fries in the air fryer is so convenient (but you can definitely bake them in the oven instead).
Note: I split up these fries into two batches to avoid overcrowding in my air fryer.
Goodness, these fries are tasty!
I love to serve sweet potato fries with sandwiches and burgers. While they aren’t necessarily super crispy (they’re more like oven baked fries), they were gone within just a few minutes at my house.
The creamy Avocado Dipping Sauce takes these fries to the next level! SO good.
Yummy!
Thanks April!
I’ve been considering getting an air fryer and all these recipes aren’t helping. lol!
Oh my gosh, I use mine all the time, and not just on here! ha!
Will have to try this. This is the only way I like to eat sweet potatoes. Thanks!
Sure! Enjoy!
This sounds yummy!
Thanks! 🙂 Enjoy!
I love my air fryer! Keep these recipes coming! 🙂
Thanks Patty!
Yum!
Lina thx for always posting yummy stuff! I am going to purchase an air fryer… I’m thinking that the 2-3 quart is pretty small (like wouldn’t even do a dozen wings all at one time). Am I right? Don’t want to get one that’s too small. Thx so much!
Yes I do have the 3.4 quart. There is a 2 quart and a 5 quart. I do sometimes wish I had the bigger one! 🙂
Lina thanks for posting all of this yummy stuff!
You’re welcome April!
I have four growing boys, so I might need to find the biggest fryer available. 🙂 This recipe looks amazing!
Thanks Amy!
Please share more airfryer recipes!! It is such a great and healthier way to cook. Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks, I’ve been wanting to try making sweet potato fries.
Mine never turn out in the air fryer. 😭
Anyone know the secret?
I’m not hot on sweet potato fries, but sign me up for the avocado dipping sauce!
Yes! It’s delish <3
I love making sweet potato anything in my air fryer! You can also do a whole baked sweet potato! Gotta try this avocado dip though! Thx!
Yum! I’d like to try that too!
Thank you! I just bought an air fryer, can’t wait to try this recipe out!
You’re welcome!
May I ask what brand of air fryer do you own?
Friday on Home Shopping Network (HSN.com) Wolfgang Puck had a 7 qt air fryer that would roast a 5# or 6# chicken, or a turkey breast. I have a too small version and will upgrade to a bigger on sometime soon.
Buying the in-laws an air fryer for Christmas and need recommendations on brand. Please tell me which one you have if you love it.
Tried sweet potato fries last night but they were no crispy. What am I doing wrong?!
oh darn – maybe slicing thinner and adding a little oil will help.
Are you peeling the potatoes completely?
Hi Wanda! It is personal preference. Those shown above were not peeled, but you can peel them if you’d like. Sweet potato skins have lots of fiber and nutrients! 🙌😋❤️ Hope that is helpful!
