Aww man, I just stopped at our local greenhouse on my way home from work and spent $58 on flowers. I’m sure these are just as good and cheaper. Oh well… I’m supporting a local business. That’s what I’ll tell myself.

Menards has the green hanging baskets for 5.99 I think through tomorrow. They had a nice selection.
I bought several of the inexpensive hanging baskets last year, and they were pretty, but when I got to our family’s mothers day party the baskets paled in comparison to the $25 baskets to mom from my other siblings. It is not a competition, but for an extra 20 bucks this year I will splurge on mom (she is worth it), and get her a gorgeous basket that is better planted and has more varieties in one basket. At the end of the season the ones I had bought were all dead and the “better” baskets still looked amazing. They had to be replanted also they were root bound at the store. Hope this is helpful to someone.
I always buy these when on sale and re pot into my big planters and add some spike plants and some trailing plants to create big beautiful planters at a reasonable cost.

I found creeping phlox for $1.00! It is a perennial ground cover.. chokes out weeds, very pretty flowers, spreads in multiple , and cones back every year. I stocked up!!
